Just checking my understanding of the nasuverse/wankbreaker situation

So, it seems that the profiles have been reverted due to Wankbreaker's credibility being practically destroyed, and by extension his revisions are viewed with heavy suspicion as well. But that doesn't exactly mean we're taking the old tier 1 scaling as actually reliable based on some sort of new argumentation that has been given, are we? The verse's supporters are planning to make a thread with a bunch of new arguments for tier 1 (and 0) sometime in the near future that haven't been given yet to my knowledge.

FYI I do plan on opposing the establishment of the nasuverse complex multiversal scaling as actually reliable since Wankbreaker did actually happen to be right about the verse having a lot of showings contradicting the idea that "[higher-dimensional] -> [uncountably infinitely stronger]" in the verse. Maybe there are some better arguments for 1-A but that's even more outlandish.

Well, the reason I posted this thread was to ask whether or not I was understanding that thread correctly.

My understanding is that we aren't necessarily accepting the tier 1 scaling wholesale (OP didn't actually provide any arguments for the tier 1 scaling being valid), we're just returning to it temporarily because Wankbreaker is way too dubious of a source to take seriously, so the old profiles are just the best we have, right?

oh yeah you mean the out of context + mistranslated showings

If anything, the supposed evidence for dimensional superiority (or whatever you want to call it) actually existing in Nasuverse is what's out of context. There's no evidence that anything higher-dimensional in Fate is actually uncountably stronger/more durable/whatever than lower dimensional things. Euryale is one example.

And as for things being mistranslated, BB's wall being 8-dimensional as opposed to having 8 levels/ranks/whatever is already contentious as is. "Jigen" isn't just something you can uniformly translate as "dimensions"

It isn't because the tier 1 was reliable, but the state of the profile was at least better than after wankbreaker revision, like there is a profile with Complex Multiverse level, likely Large Island level which is very bad. So revert the profile back to tier 1 to serve as a better ground to work on repairing the verse, since the supporters is now working from the ground up
