Not being able to feel pain still doesn't let me fight back or save my life so why bother? I'll probably break my hand and bleed to death trying to punch the gorilla anyway.

Because I don't know, they have all illneses, of course some can be contagious on contact, so like, 5 dies after being punched and the gorilla now is ill too and is starting to die

Even if the gorilla catches them, it'll only die after killing all the people. Very few diseases can kill someone within 24 hours of infection. Even Ebola which spreads through bodily fluids has an incubation period that takes at least two days. I honestly think the humans would just be a bunch of corpses by the time the fight happens because there's no way they can survive the combination of AIDS + Ebola alone. They'll last for a few days at most when the fight only takes place after a year.

It's valid reasoning ngl, but Weakest humans won't be able to hurt it physically since they don't see anything and don't have other senses to compensate it
