It always erks me when TG stans look at all the other characters and decide "lets use kaneki again" for the undecillionth time so lets switch things up a bit

Small lore: Kusakabe is tasked with rescuing kaneki for some reason and arrives about a day before kaneki loses his sanity. Coincidently yamori was about to feed kaneki in that time period and decides to kill Kusakabe then feed Kaneki his corpse so he can mess with him some more.

  • Both fighters start 10 meters apart
  • Shinjuku showdown is used for kusakabe
  • Yamori starts in base but can use his kakuja
  • Speed is equalized
  • Ancient Tibetan monks have given jason prior knowledge on kusakabe
  • The fight takes place in yamori's hide out (basically where he tortured kaneki)

I've now decided to switch the OST

Edit: Just for clarification jasons prior knowledge on kusakabe extends to literally everything so he knows about CE, knows what he'll do in character, knows his phone number and social security, all that.

How does Kusakabe cope with heightened senses, a speed boost, and regeneration? In his kakuja state, Yamori defeats him with one blow. However, 7-C AP would also allow him to decapitate Yamori with one blow.
 
Kusakabe Domain isn't gonna be as useful here:
  • Limited Power Nullification - Only applies to CE users which Yamori isn't
  • Limited Instinctive Action & Speed Enhancement - Nice, but Yamori can just overwhelm him or close the distance. Even with the AP advantage, Yamori has regen to take care of that, and he has prior knowledge
  • Weapon Creation - Okay how is this gonna help?
7-C is really Kusakabe only win-con here

Should I remove prior knowledge? (I Lowkey thought it might have been a bit one sided on kusakabes side without it)
 
Also regarding the regen it's worth pointing out that unlike kaneki, Jason just has normal ghoul physiology so he's only low - mid rather than mid


That means if kusakabe cuts his head off with 7-C AP that's an instant loss (provided it reaches that point ofc)
 
Kusakabe uses SD right away in almost every encounter, anything enters he dices it up. This is a stomp
 
I don't think it's a stomp, but his skills and 7-C will allow him to easily take this match
 
He's only got low mid regen, anything Kusakabe does in SD leaves him unable to regen.
