My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

so i’ll just leave this here
That thread is intended for Calc Group members, so please avoid cluttering it.

I’m still partial to the 72 Petatons end myself, cos the feat doesn’t make much sense if he doesn’t disperse the whole storm. Half the reason there was no stormy weather in the US was because the storm clouds couldn’t travel on the jet stream. That seems to require him dispersing the whole storm rather than just a part of it. Maybe that’s just me, maybe I’m completely wrong.

looks like Obito vs Deku's boutta be removed soon thanks to this

To be completely fair to @Therefir

The 77 Petaton calc WAS him saving the feat. Which was an upgraded to Multi Continental +

That one makes the most sense to me. No way Deku didn’t disperse the whole storm. Storm clouds fusing makes them even more intense and energetic, and Deku needs to disperse the whole thing or else these more energetic storm clouds would’ve got picked up by the jet stream and there would be no clear skies for a week.

Until we get a one final movie (where Deku is probably gonna lose his Embers), post-AFO MHA world has been never been peaceful ever since All Might's era that heroes have to branch out to jobs and gimmicks other than the basic hero work. So even if Bakugo or Shoto surpassed Prime All Might, they won't really get any opportunities to use that level of power.

So, cross your fingers for MHA: The Last Hero The Movie (to be followed by Beku: My Hero Next Generations)

The clouds were likely still dispersing since the winds reached America, but they were no longer dispersing at the initial speed of 386,800 m/s.

Either the entire storm was pushed away by that initial dispersion, or it doesn't work.

… bruhhhhhhh💀

I feel like the dispersal speed for the whole storm is being underestimated

We see it moving while Deku is not falling at all mid-air. That should be make it faster than the 124.21 m/s used in the calc
To be fair, the Calc has the velocity of the storm’s dispersal at 386,000 m/s. But yeah, you might still be right about the timeframe thing. Maybe a recalc using the time it’d take him to stay in mid air.

Can we calculate how many punches Deku will have to stack in Fajin to reach planet level.

No limits fallacy ? Never heard of her.

The storm isn’t natural anyway so would it still be affected by the 16km tropopause height if that height is legit?
I'm sorry, I feel devastated. I'll come back in a week to see if anyone has other methods or if my calc ends up being the one selected. See you later.
Would the fact that Deku is still falling improve the timeframe at least?
I also find it annoying how verses like KN8 get so high off of vague statements but this feat seems to get scrutinised so much. I guess this result is more consistent for the verse but I feel like this feat should still be higher. I feel like something’s missing. I don’t know if that’s intuition or delusion though.

Eh well, primary feat of a popular verse vs relatively unknown verse, the former is naturally gonna get more heat, I experienced that with Naruto lol
KN8 should probably be downgraded, I haven't heard exactly the best things about how it's scaled on here

nah the hating is crazy lmfao 😭
