Not a DMC centric game, but from what I recall it's the 2nd Capcom gacha that has EoS, where Capcom has provided an offline version, the 1st being Mega Man Dive X, when Dive X went offline, it's gacha was changed, making units considerably easier to obtain, without real currency.
That could possibly happen with PoC when that gets shutdown. Food for thought?

Honestly, i’m starting to think that Capcom hates DMC, we’ve been almost 6 years without any game, there’s no remake or a continuation of 5, they only focus on other franchises, but never on our stylish favorite demon.

Tbf, a Devil May Cry game is probably more difficult to develop than a Resident Evil or Monster Hunter game, and Itsuno's departure probably didn't help.
Also, maybe they've already been developing a Devil May Cry for a few years but it's still being kept secret.

No, mate, I'm sure it's just Capcom being lazy or not really caring, because even the Resident Evil remakes take at least three years to make. If they really wanted to bring the franchise to the new generation, it would take at least three years for each remake or at least five years for a new numbered DMC game to come out. I'm sure it's just Capcom being lazy. People are asking for more games and remakes, but nothing has come out so far. The guy above mentioned that Capcom is going to bring out new games from the classic franchises, but I highly doubt that DMC will be among them. Capcom seems to hate anything related to DMC with a passion (that's what I think about Capcom).

I hope there's a remake of DMC 2. Even though the second game is rubbish, I hope there's a remake of DMC 4 as well. That game is just as bad as the second one. DMC is the franchise that most needs an absurd remake.

An argument could be made for DMC3 not needing one either. It wouldn't need much of an overhaul outside of graphics and some minor gameplay tweaks.

Depends on Capcom as well, they still did a remake of RE4 despite looking decent and all that

Makes sense. It'd be best if they don't change too much though. Especially with DMC3 which would only benefit from graphics and maybe minor gameplay changes.
For DMC1, that could benefit from an overhaul in gameplay. For DMC2, it would benefit from a gameplay shift, Dante having more of his real personality at least sometimes (he was depressed in the anime as well), and a few things added to it, such as more development for Lucia and Matier, two characters I think have lots of potential. Showing Agnus in a flashback as an employee of Arius might be interesting too.

I needed to play some DMC3 as a palette cleanser after seeing Season 1, not unlike how a friend of mine said she needed to read Dragon Ball as a palette cleanser after reading the Dark Schneider manga and hating Dark Schneider.
With that in mind, I won't be seeing Season 2.

Saw the reboot coming a mile away, so I never even tried that one. Whereas I'd been giving Shankar the benefit of the doubt for things like his almost verbally abusive treatment of the woman in the IGN interview until I saw the show.
Honestly, at least the reboot doesn't feature a useless Dante stand-in, a protagonist who's more like a villain and the now overused "misunderstood" villains trope.
