He moves in time intervals in the superhuman range. 1/24 seconds is superhuman. Maki could turn around in that time.

He was going much slower earlier in the same chapter against a less injured maki and constantly outsped her

Not fully. To just turn 180 she’d be effectively moving around half a meter while just eyeballing it he’s moving at least a few meters to reach her. It’d still have to be in the subsonic range but not that close to mach I don’t think

The scaling based on statements and the new crt should be something like this i think.
  • Low tiers [16.67 m/s, ≈24 m/s)
  • Human Naoya and naobito ≈24 m/s in combat, (≈24 m/s, 308.7 m/s) in travel speed, [Mach 0.9, Mach 1.1) at top speed.
  • High tiers (Mach 1.1, Mach 3)
  • 15 f Sukuna and relative (Mach 1.1, +∞)
  • God tiers (Mach 3, +∞)
 
well if it reaches that speed due to the built up pressure, working akin to a water jet, I don’t think it’s that bad of an assumption to assume it loses speed beyond its initial fire.
It would clear a lot of things up

There are still problems there that won't go away like it's speed being mach 4.5 when Choso used it in season 3 ep 1 and mach 2.5 when Uraume blocked it as well as Choso's generally being faster than Noritoshi's, which if I'm not mistaken, is also FTS

The God tiers should scale to Mach 3 since a weakened Sukuna perception blitzed maki even though she had prediction which made her capable of reacting to mach 3 Naoya.
And at the very least they should absolutely have no upper limit to their speed cause the manga doesnt give them any cap.

Well going by the precedence that statements dismiss all feats, that would just be considered an outlier due to other statements/feats capping Gojo lower. Gojo or Sukuna could have a trillion feats that are Hypersonic and it wouldn't matter.

Wow. Thanks for showing Todo having a whole thinking stage/process and being able to deactivate his CE in less than 0.01 seconds. Todo just has the highest reaction speed in verse other than gojo and sukuna ig since he would be able to have a whole thinking stage and deactivate his CE in less time than their domain delay that blitzed everyone.

This isn't even a forgein concept in JJK man, more than a minute (and you can even argue 3 years) pass on gojo's mind in AN INSTANT in real time when he gets sealed and it activates the prison realm via that since cursed tools like it also apply on the sorcerer's perspective/perception, not real time. The timeframe of cursed techniques work on sorcerers's POV which depends on their perception. This would probably apply to the todo example above aswell btw.

  • Naoya's Cursed Technique lets him track movement at 1/24 seconds each. This means that his regular reactions are inferior. This means that his speed is inferior when he's shown to not cover large distances in those timeframes. Yuji calls him fast.
Refer to the above.

  • Piercing Blood is canonically shown to be faster than sound by its sonic boom, then it progressively gets slower. Can conclude that it goes to below the speed of sound after its initial fire.
Nice headcanon. Also it starts at supersonic and can get way faster via higher compression, so you said the exact opposite of what actually happens. Thanks.

First valid point, surely it isn't contradicted by feats and the other statements that you just said (it is). Maki who you claim to be superhuman reacts and counts his frames per "second" btw.

Holy repeating arguments because you ran out, refer to the second point again man.

  • They blatantly say he moves faster than the speed of sound, and they imply that they can't. "If he moves at the speed of sound, we'll prepare".
Refer to the point of contradiction in point 5.

Second valid point, surely it isn- (you get the point).
