Star Wars Legends vs Star Wars Disney Canon (3-0-0) (Stomp)

Comparing two versions of Star Wars canons (parallel universes perhaps) power-wise to each-other.

  • Fight takes place in Galaxy Far Far Away.
  • Star Wars Legends has everything from "Star Wars Legends" (OG Star Wars extended continuity, before Disney bought SW). Star Wars Disney Canon has everything from "Disney Canon" (New Star Wars extended continuity, after Disney bought SW). If something is present in both canons, then both parties have it.
  • Time-periods-wise, both parties have everything from 5 ABY and beyond. For Disney Canon, it correlates with tail end of Fall Of The Empire, New Republic Era, Galactic Civil War (Peace, Cold War) First Order-Resistance War, New Jedi Order and Thereafter. For Legends Canon, it correlates with The New Republic era, The New Jedi Order era and The Legacy era. (may be discussed or changed if needed)
  • Both parties have as much knowledge on eachother as they do in canon. (may be discussed or changed if needed)
  • Speed is not equalized
  • Both parties have 1 week of preparation time. (may be discussed or changed if needed)
  • Otherwise SBA

I think the Legends Force Users are stronger (5B vs 6A), with Luke and Abeloth being 1A. They are also FTL, while Disney folks are only relativistic.

Even with equal stats, Legends has better hax and skill feats lol

They also have stronger superweapons.

this shit is pretty much a stomp
It is a stomp.

Legends has a couple 1-As, and while they're more like High 6-A max for high-tier mortals with High 5-A God-tier mortals, Darth Marr solos the entire verse and re-establishes the Sith Empire in the modern day.
Counted.

What assumptions i have to change to prevent it from being a Stomp? Change time periods, or restrict something, or what?

Hm. I remember how many Votes must be in order to proclaim one of the party's win. But how many "Stomp Votes" or "Stomp Marks" are needed to end match as "Stomp"?

First, matches between Universe x and Universe y cannot be added.

Therefore, this match should be in the "Fun in Games" section.

Second, when a match is considered a Stomp, the match is not added.

1) How big match can get while being legal to add? Civilization vs Civilization?

2) When a match is considered a Stomp?

3) How do i move the match to Fun And Games?

There are some civilization profiles, but Star Wars doesn't have that. Like, an Imperial profile or something like that.

At most, there are the giant spaceships.

2) When a match is considered a Stomp?
It's kind of like everyone in the thread agrees, like common sense, but it's a bit abstract.

3) How do i move the match to Fun And Games?
You can ask a staff member (thread moderator or admin).

What if i said, e.g., "every Imperial ship that we have profile of" or "every character/weapon/ship we have profile of" or something like that, it could work?

P.S. Civ on Civ and Verse on Verse matches are much more unpredictable than 1v1 matches. It's easy to misjudge powers and end up in Stomp or unintended course of events; both parties of large-scale match basically go "...There's proof that i'll stomp you - No, i'll stomp you, i'm orders of magnitude more numerous - There's a thing 3 tiers higher than you so i stomp..." back and forth, back and forth.

Legends outscale and dumps on canon. This match cannot work either because neither legends or canon has profiles. It’s like trying to say Naruto universe itself is a profile.

I want to move it to Fun And Games as instructed. IDK how.

Quite literally impossible. There's very little tier overlap between the two verses.
The one overlap i see are certain non-Force-sensitive characters and non-Superweapon vehicles. Otherwise, it's impossible-to-balance indeed.

There aren't any profiles for Legends non-force-sensitives IIRC.
...That's the exact reason. Force-sensitives and Superweapons are main different thing; everything else is basically composite of Legends and Disney Canon.

P.S. conflating Legends Canon and Disney Canon into one single thing is easier than it seems on the first glance - since many parts are distanced from each-other and can be used to patch each-other's plot holes.

E.G. In 5+ ABY, in Disney Continuity, most actions center around left side of Galactic map, in Unknown Regions where FIrst Order, Last Order and "Other Nth Orders" reside - while in Legends, action centers around right side of maps, where Palpatine's Empire once were and where Imperial Succession States/Remnants reside. In turn, this explains why New Republic ignored "Nth Orders" on left side of map for long, leaving the fighting to The Resistance - namely, because they're fighting with Imperial Succession States on right side of map, and they don't want to fight on 2 fronts at once.

Legends stomps (even if you don’t use the wanked profiles on-site).

Legends has the advantage in both quality and quantity:

  • Far more powerful individual force users (Sidious, Vitiate, Nihilus, Exar Kun, etc. ravaging the surface of entire worlds)
  • Far more powerful deities (Mortis Gods and Abeloth get Beyond Shadows scaling and the latter doesn’t even exist in Canon)
  • Far greater number of documented notable Force users (there are thousands of notable named Jedi and Sith characters in Legends, and nowhere near as many in Canon)
  • Far greater number in mundane troops (the separatist droid army alone was stated to number in the quintillions, while Canon is left with the implications from TCW alone that armies number in the millions with nothing left to contradict it)
  • Far greater number and quality of superweapons (Corsair, Star Crusher, Vong Moon Throwers, Centerpoint Station, Star Forge, Mass Shadow Generator, Shawken Device, Dark Reaper, Tarkin Project, Galaxy Gun, World Smashers, etc.)
  • Far greater number and quality of quasi-deities (World Razer, Waru, Mnggal-Mnggal, Wutzek, the living planets, Waru, Machine Gods of Iokath, Bedlam Spirits, etc.)
