Nah. Gerson can always use lethal moves and just hold back in last moment. So, move that would otherwise kill Deku if it hit, would just knock him out with 1 hp left(which Gerson can easily heal, so for him there aren't many reasons to hold back his most dangerous moves)

So Gerson is 2.93x in AP, has superior LS (over 5.77x or 7.47x if you use the new calc), fairly good danmaku, Green Mode, Duraneg (Only need 1 hit to put down deku), Healing (wich is Low-High, since he can revive/heal Ralsei in the Titan Ffight), Tp (?), Analytical Prediction (although, inferior to deku ap)

Since there is no Deku supporters yet, I will just quickly list all his nain advantages:
Better mobility with Air float and other quirks. He could prolly evade getting into green mode
Danger Sense + better analytical prediction
Fa Jin bridges the AP gap
Blackwhip can temporarily restrain Gerson
Better stamina feats

They did participate actively in Susie vs Deku fight, so it's strange to see them not being active here. Roaring Knight vs Deku was inactive due to supporters quickly realising that Knight stomps, but this one seems a bit more fair.

Indecisive due to lack of args from Deku side. Gerson does have the necessary tools to easily take him down, but there's enough leeway via Deku's usual shenanigans that he'd be given a run for his money.
