Deku vs Homelander and Soldier Boy

Ah yes, putting a dad and his son who has never worked together and in fact wants to murk each other on the same team to see what would happen.
Surprisingly, you're not the first person who has done this.

Well they're teaming up in season 5 soo, Homelander’s going to need all the help he can get lol

How do you know they'll be teaming up, especially since Soldier Boy's entire goal is to kill him? If anything, bro will probably team up with Ryan since they're both kind of in a neutral place right now.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the rules say that you can put two characters together to fight only if they have canonically teamed up. Sure, S5 might have that, but so far, they have only ever tried to kill each other.

Given we know they're going to team up via the trailer, I see it as fair game

SB and Homie would try to murk each other, Deku would sit, watch, and wait until they're done fighting, and then mollywhop whoever is alive.
Voting Deku.

I'll just point out that Soldier Boy's blast doesn't need a long time to charge if he only wants to power null the opponent rather than dealing maximum damage. It'll only take a few seconds for his weakest blast aka the one he accidentally used against Kimiko that got rid of her powers.

Compound V is influenced by genetics. The same applies to Quirks. Radiation in general can affect genes.
the thing is it specifically says burns compound v not burn compound v and the genetics it affected

also quirks in this case dont have any compound V at all so it wouldnt affect it

Verse equalization makes that point moot. Compound V would be equal to Quirk Factors. Soldier Boy's radiation was also implied to be able to work on Ryan who inherited his powers purely from genetics (every other Supe had V put into them at some point while Ryan was just born with them).

I feel like Deku could reasonably avoid it
I mean yeah, I'd agree. Benjamin still has to stand there for a few seconds while his opponent can see his chest starting to glow and realize something was gonna happen. It's worth noting that he can also release the blast omnidirectionally.

Quirk would never equate to V
V would equate to like the Super Soldier serum, but not quirks.

Soldier Boy burns the chemical on the blood stream and it's effects on the body. Quirks are a natural generic alteration

You can't verse equalize here at all since how The Boys get and have superpowers are completely different from mha's

just a reminder that quirks are also present in the soul as well via the vestiges so they are separate power systems that can't be equalized

As for ryan he inherited superpowers from a person who had compound V give them powers so they are just descended Compound V powers

Since it specifically says it burns out the compound V which is a unique type of power source to The Boys it would never work cross verse unless that verse some how has smth similar

To them it would be like toji they would have super powers but absolutely no Compound V traced in them so what compound V would there be to burn to nullify deku's quirks?
