‎This time I want to discuss the SoL scaling in Jujutsu Kaisen from its spin-off, because many people still disagree. I will bring supporting feats and scaling into the discussion.

‎In Chapter 15, Dabura is stated to have a Cursed Technique with light properties, but does that mean Dabura’s Cursed Technique reaches the speed of light? Here we go.

‎In terms of scaling, Dabura is at least at a threat level comparable to Sukuna, which was confirmed by Ui Ui and the Jujutsu Government

‎Dabura was able to nearly surpass Mahoraga in all aspects, something Sukuna in Shibuya was also capable of doing.

‎Dabura is many times stronger than Cross and Maru, who had already reached Special Grade level. Maru himself was able to withstand and react to Rika’s speed effectively.

It won't scale to Gojo or Sukuna, probabpy not even Yuji. Dabura's speed was specifically noted to not have been explored/reached by humanity. Plus, he needs to accelerate over time to reach Rel+ and SoL

Didn't Mahoraga adapt to it by the end ? Anyway seems like there should be a different key for Mahoraga in Modulo after he adapted to Dabura stuffs

Doesn’t going Rel+ literally make Dabura’s leg explode? It’s declared something humanity hasn’t anttained before by the narrator. And Dabura had to use his light based cursed technique to achieve those velocities. Not basic reinforcement.
Mahoraga would only scale via its reactive evolution rather than always being that fast. (If there’s actual moments where Mahoraga dodges or parried Dabura’s light cause his movement speed ain’t that high always)

So this doesn’t affect Yuji, Gojo or Sukuna.

He adapted to destructive effects of it, and in result he wasn't killed by relativistic kick. No indication that Mahoraga was even able to see and follow Dabura, when he was running at rel+ speed, so no relativistic speeds for him.
Supporters plan to add separate key for Mahoraga(and make new profiles for Modulo characters) after sequel officially ends.

There's no reason given why this would scale to Gojo, Sukuna, Yuji or even Mahoraga.

When Dabura went sub-light his leg exploded and Mahoraga was frozen from his perspective. While Dabura's attacks are SoL and his rush is also sub-rel / rel I don't think anyone scales to the full speed of either. At best it would be comparable reaction speed without any combat or movement speed backing it.

I want to ask if Dabura can be scaled to island level since JJK follows the rule that you need a strong body to handle light speed travel. If yes, I think that scaling can be used for Yuji (since he said he would take care of Dabura after their duel ends)

Not really though, nothing indicate Yuji is stronger, at best comparable but they didn't even fight so he couldn't really scale

I think this would be just perception speed, iirc, reaction speed gives a minor speed boost to the person in response to something unexpected coming their way or something?

There's literally a whole ass narrator statement saying this speed is "unexplored by humanity" this does not scale to any human character. And since Gojo and Sukuna are human, it downscales every cursed spirit as well as every alien not named Dabura since they're not blitz tiers above other humans like Tsuguri or Yuji. This is Dabura and Dabura upscale only.

Even if we just accept that Yuji is stronger to avoid derailing to much. It wouldn't prove he could match Dabura's speed.

Moving this fast puts a massive strain on Dabura's body. It's not a casual speed he can just move at through strength boosted reinforcement. Yuji can be overall stronger because his other stats like physicals due to his unique physiology and CE control, even if he is overall far slower than Dabura's top speed.
