• Both sides have access to an SSD with all Chess books ever written up until 2026
• Both sides had 20s of prep
• God Machine Brainiac was used as, the way i see it so far, it makes no practical difference
• They are playing at home in chess.com with a neutral arbiter beside each (for flavoring sake, Le Batteur is beside Rimuru and Le Juge is beside Brainiac)
  • Their PC have 1Gbps ethernet connection and 64gb of RAM
  • They'll play a best of 3
  • In the first game, they'll both open with the Bongcloud

Unless I am missing something (I likely am), I see no feats of the profile that come close to Rimuru with Raphael, much less Ciel.

I think that whether you choose God Machine or any other key matters quite a bit

The reason being that all keys, other than the last one, lack the capacity to solve chess, and, as such, the match would be resolved by Rimuru just plainly solving chess

The God Machine, on the other hand, has the capacity to solve chess, so there is still debate to be held, so I'll perform a bit more research on it

Here is the thing: Rimuru can gain knowledge of all possible chess moves/positions in an instant, and due to Ciel(or any of his previous companions), he will always make him choose the correct move.

The Chances of him making a mistake are not "infinitesimal", but rather 0.

I honestly don’t care if it’s infinitesimal or 0, there’s not a difference unless they do infinite matches, the point is that everything rimuru can do, a nigh omniscient being can do it infinitely better

It being infinite information is not why he has nigh omniscience, it being all the information in the multiverse is why he has nigh omniscience, processing all the information in the multiverse would mean he processed every possible chess strategy from all of history and all of the future of multiple universes, him being nigh omniscient literally makes him know everything there is to know about chess, that is how nigh omniscience works
