Thor and Gorr's Pre-Stellar Lifting Strength should be removed

Hello everyone.

I would like to propose removing the Pre-Stellar Lifting Strength ratings for Thor and Gorr in the MCU.

The reason is simple: the current justification appears to be circular.

Thor’s Love and Thunder key currently has “At least Pre-Stellar” Lifting Strength because he evenly matched Gorr.

Gorr, meanwhile, has “At least Pre-Stellar” Lifting Strength because he evenly matched Thor.

So the scaling effectively becomes:

 • Thor gets Pre-Stellar from Gorr
 • Gorr gets Pre-Stellar from Thor

That is not a proper lifting strength justification.

Neither character has an actual Pre-Stellar lifting feat, nor do they scale from a character with an independently established Pre-Stellar lifting value. As such, this rating does not seem properly supported.

By contrast, Thor’s earlier Class P rating is at least feat-backed through moving the rings of Nidavellir, which is a direct lifting justification.

Proposed changes

Thor:
Remove “At least Pre-Stellar” Lifting Strength and keep him at Class P unless a better direct justification is provided.

Gorr:
Remove “At least Pre-Stellar” Lifting Strength and replace it with a more conservative rating until a proper feat or scaling chain is found.

Conclusion

The current Pre-Stellar ratings for Thor and Gorr seem to rely on circular scaling rather than an independent feat or a valid lifting chain, so I believe they should be removed.

You should have checked Thor's statistic value Thor is scaling to Gorr who is superior to khonshu who has a pre stellar calc.
So unless you want to debunk that scaling then you won't be downgrading anything. But I agree that it should be better explained on the profiles.

Are you or somebody else who knows what they are doing willing to handle it please? 🙏

I can do some changes like.
Gorr
At least Pre-Stellar (Evenly matched Thor, who stated that to defeat him they would need to recruit the most powerful gods of the universe, including Ra, the strongest god of the Egyptian Pantheon, therefore stronger than Khonshu.<ref group="Statistics Values">'''[[User blog:KLOL506/Moon Knight: Khonshu Moves the Moon (HD EDITION)|1.242 Septillion Metric Tons]]'''</ref>)
Thor
At least Pre-Stellar (Evenly matched Gorr who should be stronger than Khonshu [5][Statistics Values 22])

Thank you for helping out.

Do we still need to do anything based on this thread, or should we close it? 🙏

No problem, and I have closed this thread now. Thank you to everybody who helped out here. 🙏
