The chapter 14 of Saint Mariya has been released.
The chapter had some interesting details.
The Kiki from Saint Mariya is probably the most interesting version of Kiki in the franchise. I like how Seira is developing the character in this story. I just hope they don’t turn him into a romantic interest for any of the girls, because that would be very strange.
On the first page, Shion explains that remaining in the world consumes a large amount of Cosmo, so he cannot stay there for long.
The girls have begun their training with the spirits of the Bronze Saints.
Hyoga explains to Odette that she is failing when using her ice-control abilities because she consumes too much Cosmos. He tells her that Saints who control ice focus on stopping atoms and explains the concept of absolute zero. As part of her training, Hyoga uses Diamond Dust to create an avalanche that Odette must stop. This is a solid feat in Saint Mariya, since so far the series has not had any particularly notable feats.
It is stated that Mariya has the weakest abilities among the three girls, as she is unable to hear Seiya’s voice and cannot communicate with him through her Cosmo.
We see Minos again using the Book of Life, which he uses to read about Kiki’s life and learn more about him. So far in the franchise, Minos has only been seen using the Book of Life twice: once in The Lost Canvas and once in this manga.
By the way, I read on some forums that fans are mentioning that this is a mistake by Seira and Shiori, since in the original manga it is stated that the book only contains information about the dead. This is partly true, as the manga indicates that the book used by Lune only contains information about the dead, which is why Seiya and Shun’s information did not appear.
However, The Lost Canvas clarifies this detail, as we can see that Minos has a library with multiple identical books in which information about the living is immediately recorded. Then, when people die, that information is transferred to the book that Minos uses to judge souls. Therefore, they are different books: the ones in the great library compile information about the living, and later that information is transferred to the main book used to examine the sins of the dead.
Sometimes I wonder how the hell Hades forgave the betrayal of his Specters in The Lost Canvas, since some of them (Minos, Valentine, Lune, etc.) sided with Alone.
And Alone is definitely one of the best villains in the franchise (and the best character of The Lost Canvas’s main trio).

On the second page of the chapter, Sorrento mentions that the heat from reentry into the atmosphere would have killed both him and Julian if he didn’t have his Arch Scale.

So, atmospheric reentry in Rerise is planet-level or star-level (or whatever level you consider the Poseidon Generals to be). NASA spacecraft in this world must be made of orichalcum, gamanium, etc.
Suda is a fan of Saint Seiya Omega. Even the designs of the Shells and Arch Scales were inspired by that series, and he also referenced the Aquadrops that appeared in the Omega videogame. So why the hell didn’t he remember that at the end of the first season, Koga, with half his armor destroyed, reenters the atmosphere and crashes to the ground like a meteor without receiving a single scratch?.

Most inconsistent series. Its straight up fan service imo. There was a legit high 3-A feat in it but im reluctant to even count it as legit due yo all the incoherencies

To conclude the story, it is confirmed that the Mariners are unable to destroy a relatively large meteorite fragment.
Nemesis mentions that destroying a rock of that size is beyond their capabilities. That is why she explains that they must concentrate their Cosmo to the maximum into the Sword of Judgment; if they manage to gather enough Cosmo, they could open a hole to the abyss (Tartarus) in outer space and thus destroy the asteroid fragment. Kanon points out that this would be like creating an artificial black hole to destroy the meteorite.
The Six Mariners and Nemesis, with a divine weapon, were able to destroy the largest fragment of the Adrastea asteroid.
This was the final chapter of Rerise of Poseidon. Overall, it was a bit uneven, with a few good moments; however, I suppose that, for a manga created to promote a line of Bandai figures, it was fine.

Volume 4 of Time Odyssey certainly had its flaws, although not everything in this story is bad. Volumes 1 and 3 were acceptable, and it remains to be seen what they will do with the final volumes of the story and whether it improves toward the end.It's Myth Cloth slop let's be real. If an anime were in production, the logical choice would be an adaptation of Next Dimension, since it’s the main manga of the franchise and it’s already complete. Moreover, the Heaven Saga, which is the saga that the fans have been waiting for years, is set to begin soon. However, since Toei (which, to the frustration of Saint Seiya fans, holds the rights) never really does anything logical with this franchise, they might instead be planning a Rerise anime adaptation to promote the figures of the Mariners and Poseidon with Arch Scale.. After all, Bandai already showcased the prototype of Sorrento at the last Tamashii Nations, although they also revealed the prototype of Odysseus.

Giving the opinion of a newcomer to the franchise (I watched the anime as a child, played Soldiers' Soul on PC, and am reading the manga for the first time - I'm in the Hades Sanctuary):
SS (at least the original manga) seems to have been made by someone who just learned about the culture of powerscaling and wants to be impactful in that sense, but either doesn't know what those terms mean or doesn't try to understand how it would affect the story.
Like, imagine you don't know what "planetary," "stellar," "speed of light" mean. Like, you don't know what those words mean, but you know that in powerscaling they are impressive, and then you put several statements about it in the story without knowing how it can actually affect things.
Like, damn, I think the last chapter I read was Mu climbing the houses and being impressed that one of the houses (I forgot which one) was partially destroyed in an attack by Shaka. Like, wow, that's impressive (sarcasm)
I'm not saying Kurumada is like that, he's not an idiot, he knows what the speed of light means.

I agree that would be the logical choice and I still want it to happen (and yeah it will inevitably happen) and we should've definitely already have some type of teaser trailer for that by now however....
I do agree with your sentiment. I believe at this point it would be quicker to just get out a Rerise anime to for the moment feed temporarily the starving fans and Toei get their toy figure money.

Welcome! You've actually come at a decent time with newer spin offs coming out. Not all were good, but the franchise is far from dead, and there are definitely better feats out there that surpass Rerise

I don’t remember Soul of Gold very well, but wasn’t that just a translation error?.
It was the Cancer Temple; however, in this case, it can always be argued that the Sanctuary is divine territory and therefore not so easy to destroy. I even remember that in Episode G Requiem, Seiya is surprised that one of the Cyclopes could destroy a Temple, since that place is Athena’s divine domain, and the Cyclops mentions that he can do so because he has the power of Uranus, a god greater than Athena.
Even in Next Dimension, it’s possible to observe that the Sanctuary is more mystical than just a piece of rock, as the Temples have barriers that can be activated. Likewise, the Cancer Temple has a strange connection to the world of the dead, since souls can reach that place seeking help from the Cancer Saint. Additionally, the Sanctuary itself even seemed to be withstanding, for a time, the distortion of time and space that threatened to destroy the entire universe.

Speaking of profitable things, I re-downloaded Saint Seiya Awakening (I’d played it once before but hadn’t played much—I was level 37, I think) to mess around a bit (just to collect characters, since I’m not going to play this game seriously) and got some SS and EX characters in less than a week.
The game was actually pretty generous; it had two events that gave out SS characters.
I’m almost at a meta team.
Probably after reading the original manga I'll read those two one-shot prequels and then move on to "ND".

Speaking of which, why is this manga listed as a parallel universe? From what I see people saying about this spin-off, it seems to be within the main timeline.
