Fourth match of this tournament.

Da Rules:
  • Speed is always equalized
  • Combatants start ~5 meters apart from one another (or however far the MK games place fighters)
    • Charles is in a helicopter, but it still applies
  • In the event of an inconclusive match, I'll flip a coin to choose who advances
  • For pacing purposes, tournament advancement will be chosen, at absolute latest, a week after match-up is created

From what I've known about plants in Plants vs. Zombies, it's that they usually focus on aiming in just 1 direction, AKA whatever is in front of them. I've heard people say that it's a game mechanic, but more times than not the plants never really consider thinking about turning to their sides, especially in PvZ2 which is the era that's being used here for Gatling Pea, which means that it's definitely possible for Charles to simply move to the side and out of its line of sight.

That said, assuming it does actually try to turn around assuming everything was game mechanics, unless Gatling Pea actually tries to take the helicopter down immediately (The very vehicle Charles rides in for most of the time we see him), Charles can pretty much counter with his own bullets and also knock Gatling Pea out of cold by producing a loud sound. Given how Gatling Pea's range is only a little over 10 meters, Charles definitely has the better range here with how his weapons can cover hundreds of meters. Of course, since the starting range is 5 meters, he pretty much starts in Gatling Pea's range, but if he can move to the side out of its line of sight, the scales will turn in his favor especially given how Gatling Pea is literally planted to the ground and unable to move.

Charles looks to have the most combat expirience and overall skill (considering gatling gun has like 2 abilities listed).

Overall, even if Gatling Pea start blasting he can't really do anything if Charles decides to pull this shit

Very well.

FINISH HIM!

FINISH HIM!
Sure.

Charles proceeds to shoot the area around Gatling Pea until a circle is formed around it. He then proceeds to surround the plant in a Gravity Bubble before pressing the UP button on his panel to make it fall upwards before flying towards the helpless airborne upgraded peashooter to intercept it. As he does, Gatling Pea falls above Charles' head as it gets sliced into pieces by his helicopter blades.

Charles: Now THAT'S what you call a chopped salad.

FATALITY!
