Deduced that Seekers are conduits of the Opposing Force, which is contained inside the Currs, by observing Ravenous, and that to weaken the Seekers, he just had to kill the Currs.
- Combat Skill: Has spent a lifetime honing his skills with the Power Cosmic. Is shown to be a skilled swordsman, and even when badly weakened matches Knull in a sword fight. Skillfully fought off a thousand congregational souls without getting overwhelmed, despite the fact that the force of their attacks increased with every strike they made, despite the fact that Norrin wasn’t fully focused on the fight since he was looking for an Iridian soul to weaken the Uni-Lord with. Skillfully outmaneuvered and defeated three alien goddesses simultaneously despite being weakened and slightly holding back, even using his board as a mobile weapon to counter their movements and attacks. Stated that he's spent centuries fighting (and by extent besting) the warriors and champions of countless worlds. Has repeatedly been shown to be skilled at playing dead. Despite holding back on both occasions, fought relatively evenly with Warrior One, a specially trained and previously unbeaten warrior on a planet where every citizen is trained in their certain craft to be the best in the universe, with Silver Surfer later confirming that he was holding back in their previous battles and easily stomping Warrior One once he got serious. Even without being able to access his cosmic powers, easily defeated multiple opponents in a gladiator ring and was noted to not only be an ideal possible opponent for the Hulk in the eyes of his captors but also a skilled yet aggressive melee fighter and weapons user. Is skilled enough to put opponents in chokeholds with his legs despite being wrangled. Has constantly been shown using his surfboard as a mobile weapon)

When fighting a clone of himself who equaled him in power, Surfer's willpower and love for humanity gave him extra strength and allowed him to overpower his duplicate. His willpower allowed him to fight against and temporarily hold his own against Millenius (who even admitted he was unable to defeat Surfer's sheer willpower), even though Millenius is so strong that Odin needed the help of an entire army of gods to seal him away)

Could detect that a planet had 6 billion inhabitants and that nearly all of them were from different species. Reads the spark of electrons and surge of chemicals in people. - Cosmic Awareness (Surfer can find a single piece of dust across the infinite universe, he can track his path throughout the infinite planes of reality, he can instantly sense the abilities of his opponents, and even their weaknesses. He can see into alternate planes of reality, and can even track Mephisto from his own dimension, while Surfer was on Earth. Surfer can even tap into the Implicate Order, which allows him to see all moments of the past, present, and future at once, and he’s done so more than once. The High Evolutionary, when wielding Surfer’s Power Cosmic, was capable of looking across the entire Universe. Johnny Storm, when in possession of said power, could also look into the pasts of every member of the Fantastic Four, meaning Surfer could just as easily observe the pasts of his opponents as well. Surfer can even grant levels of this power to others, such as when he gave Alicia Masters the ability to see on a quantum level into the Implicate Order)

He surfed inside an exploding supernova without harm, and even remained at the center of one)
