I remember it being in the large size page that someone who's like huge would be faster due to their massYou just invert the KE formula. But it goes against our standards, so I'm not allowed to add that.

It's due to size based on assumption of speed being same relative to body, not mass.I remember it being in the large size page that someone who's like huge would be faster due to their mass

@AntvasimaThis was already approved and I suggested putting this in the Calculations page.
Done, you now can move the numbers on the image and change the font size. To move the numbers, use the hand tool, click on the number and move. I also added a feature to change the name, color and fontsize and position for the reference line.Would it be possible for you to implement the ability to adjust the position and size of a lines letter and number values when exporting images in the same way you can adjust the legends box size and position? With cropped or smaller image sizes they tend to overlap during export if lines are close enough to each other which ruins readability. Or alternatively would it be possible to enable users to select and move just the line information, as opposed to the line information + the line, so we could position it in a way that maintains readability when exporting?

@DontTalkDT @Just a Random Butler @Agnaa @Mr. BambuAre any of you willing and able to properly handle this please?![]()
ping
Probably.Thank you greatly.
It seems good to me at least, but should we link to the calc tool somewhere else as well?![]()
If people don’t suggest anything then I won’t bother implementing stuff.I feel like a lot is still missing
I did request the large size thingIf people don’t suggest anything then I won’t bother implementing stuff.
When and what exactly did you askI did request the large size thing
Can you show me exactly how you found out this error?Earthquake calculator is weird right now. It gives about 0.1 higher magnitude than it should. Small thing, but still.
Go to Earthquake calculator, and select "Find Magnitude (at source)". Put some values in, press calculate, and when it returns a Richter magnitude, click "Save as post". The value in the post will be ~0.1 less than the value in the calculator. Can you show me exactly how you found out this error?
Not sure how feasible it would be but could be nice if there was a feature to brighten the image within the image scaling as sometimes scenes are just too dark normally to get good lines, usually have to brighten them with image editing software
There should be a mass-to-energy calculator, I'm honestly kinda surprised there isn't one already.
Added. Keep in mind that image scaling features like increasing brightness, adding shapes likes circles etc, are not in the priority list. Do it yourself on paint. I added brightness cause I was working on the other two requests here. Some categories like the Pixel Scaling could have Light-years as a value, a light-year is 9,460,730,472,580.8 km, would be a little useful for galactic-scale calcs

Probably.
But I am not sure where we should link it.
So about this... Do any of you have good suggestions?Well, maybe in a few other calculation instruction pages, and possibly in our wiki navigation bar, if Fandom's settings does not prevent that.![]()
1: In the menu of the forum, usually theres spots used for advertisement but a little space for a link to the calc tool (as an image) could be there perfectly (oddly placed but still)So about this... Do any of you have good suggestions?![]()
That is not practically workable.1: In the menu of the forum, usually theres spots used for advertisement but a little space for a link to the calc tool (as an image) could be there perfectly (oddly placed but still)
That seems impractical, and would inform people after they have already made a calculation.2: In those comments that you do to every calc blog about linking to calc evaluations, you could mention the calc tool so in the future people can keep it in mind, specially good for new people
Well, I don't mind links in a few other calculation instruction pages, but we need specific examples and to add the links in a proper manner. Maybe an instruction page or instruction section for how to use the calculation tool would be a good idea?3: It would require more effort, but several explanation pages in the wiki have tools in the calc tool for them, recommending using it
Im pretty sure there's significantly more calc blogs than calcers, many people have made dozen of calcs, it's meant for them to use it in the future, and is not like most calc get quickly evaluated as soon as they are made, people usually have to bump them once they believe they are doneThat is not practically workable.
