The difference is that Bang actively goes for vitals while Lancelot just does that situationally.

Is mind reading/power mimicry even something Lancelot actively opens with? And it's very useful, since Bang would shutdown Lancelot from fighting back.

Uhh yes it’s an innate ability of the fairy clan. I fear you underestimate Lance’s mobility he’s capable of shapeshifting into anything such as a fairy fox etc, he uses his fairy form to move around and can gain distance via flight. And once again Bang can’t do anything if it’s telegraphed.
Also as mentioned Lance can copy his skills and mannerisms to a Tee. Not only that he can actually copy the skills of other opponents bang has gone up against via mind reading aswell so he could potentially copy the skills of Garou that defeated Bang

Alright this is pretty ridiculous.
Lancelot’s mind reading is not a wincon in this match. While he can read memories to mimic an opponent’s power, moves, and speed, this does not equate to matching their skill level. Bang is a martial artist whose techniques have "transcended the realm of mastery." He's far above other high-tier martial artists such as Atomic Samurai and Nichirin, who can slice in-between cells with their blades and combat tens of thousands of danmaku needles with their eyes closed using only instinct.
Even if Lancelot copies Bang’s technique (Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist), he would only gain knowledge of the movements, not the ability to reproduce them at the same level of refinement or fight against him blow for blow. Bang’s skill is the result of decades of experience specifically conditioning his own body. His timing, reflexes, muscle memory, and instinct are all honed to function together seamlessly. Reading Bang’s memories of how techniques are applied to his body does not grant Lancelot the same bodily adaptation or ingrained responses. Given that Bang’s martial arts have reached a level described as beyond conventional mastery, the gap between theoretical understanding and practical execution is significant. Lancelot may know what to do, but not be able to perform it with comparable precision, efficiency, or instinct.
This is even shown in the series. Garou has a similar (if not superior) form of power mimicry, as he can copy techniques by reading the flow of energy in all phenomena, while also being an extremely skilled martial artist in his own right. Despite this, Garou was skill stomped by Bang in a direct WSRSF duel.
The way folks have been extrapolating this one scene to mean that he can do all that they've been saying he can is beyond me. Lancelot gets taken out by pressure points 5 seconds into the fight. Voting Bang low difficulty.

What you’re failing to realize is that his Mind reading power mimicry is not just limited to copying Bang’s own skill, He is capable of copying other people that Bang has come across and their power, skills habit etc all but their power. So he would be capable of copying the power of a version of Saitama, Monster Garou etc. Everything you mentioned about how he has transcended martial arts and it’s engraved in his body would still fall under Bang’s Habits which Lancelot copies and replicates so I don’t see how that point works either
Also no one still has been able to give me a straight answer as to how bang goes about against Lancelot being able to telegraph intentions via Mind reading aswell.

I think you haven’t reached the part where he says he copies everything except the magic.
He could train for a few more centuries, and yet Lancelot would still be able to copy everything he does in just a few seconds by reading his mind.
Man, he literally even takes on the person’s voice. Garou’s mimicry doesn’t come close — not even to the soles of the feet — of Lancelot’s mimicry.
Lancelot’s first move against enemies who try to kill him is literally to strike at their pressure points. It’s worth noting that Lancelot almost never stays in his human form, which would make Bang’s life even harder, since he can become intangible through his transformations.

I'm sorry what?? You seriously think Lancelot has better power mimicry compared to the guy who copied Saitama's power, perfectly replicated his Consecutive and Serious Punches, and can surpass the original to become greater.

GOE Lance had already drank the lake tho.
He can stack H 3-A to Low 2-C lvls of powers which means none of Bang’s attack can overpower his absorption.
And it’s a one shot homing nuke AOE no need for other weapons
Lance can do the same + he can read Mind and heart even if Bang tries to dissimulate his intentions.

Ngl Lance can magically transpose everything except innate magic so technically the more skilled the opponent the more Lance can copy.
Remember, atp shining road was strong enough to pierce through LOTL.
He can fly, turn intangible and Bang being the slower character anything that would give him the speed advantage would get restricted.

This simply is not true. Speed-based wincons are only restricted when they are they are blitzes and are the main reason for the slower character's victory.

Shining road would just come back at him + he would get nuked while trying to deflect it.
You can’t compare mere lasers with Shining Road.
It seems like you don’t understand GOE Lance isn’t H 3-A to L 2-C but he can absorb Power on this lvl and amp himself with it.
He can create a kind of bubble around him or just touching the attacks work.

Anyways I don’t see how Bang gets around Lancelot’s mind reading, or even touches him with Lancelot maneuverability via shapeshifting or his Intagibility. Lance can seal his presence albeit in a circle spell so he has to be within it. Lancelot also can attack vital points aswell too… I don’t see how Bang wins this

I still vote for him, Bang can’t really do anything against his mind reading mimicry.
He can’t do anything about Shining road either, no one ever found a solution or a way to evade it outside of busted regeneration.
As Majinere said he can also shapeshift, become intangible etc…

He would literally be infinitely more powerful. Garou literally has no stat-based win con, maybe with BFR or Time Reversal hax, but he’s nothing to full power Lancelot in power.
