Bit of a necro, but this is an interesting comparison in that Dante is somewhat of a good role model in terms of vibing in casual and cooperative social settings (confidence, self-amusement, outcome independence, showmanship & subtlety in good balance, general chillness & high-energy in good balance).
Whereas certain depictions of Doom, when he's not succumbing to jealousy and other forms of pettiness, are somewhat of a good role model in terms of leadership & asserting dominance in the appropriate power-game settings (discipline, mastery of multiple fields, poker face, keeping others' headspaces in mind, interested in the wellbeing of his people iirc, understanding the power of gestures over words to communicate).
Not "casting a vote" here, I just find these personality comparisons interesting, especially when some traits are shared but expressed in vastly different ways.
