How do I explain to this user why we don't allow members to harass authors for WoG statements? One of the obvious examples of trying to lead the conversation while fishing for WoG statements.
If someone has a better explanation, I'd appreciate letting the user know. Otherwise, I'll have to block him since he clearly insists he should be allowed to continue and add them to the wiki.

I’m pretty sure that asking these questions with such obvious powerscaling intent is itself a rule violation. Not to mention his deliberate attempts to slip in those WoGs by manipulating the context and presenting them as “nonpowerscaling questions”. We’ve banned users for similar behavior before, and his case appears even more severe.
He needs to understand that users aren’t allowed to ask authors such questions. If he still hasn’t understood that yet despite your exhausted attempts, I don’t think further discussion will be helpful.

I know it’s a minor nitpick, but users are allowed to do whatever they want as long as it doesn’t affect the wiki. I have asked a showrunner about some stuff before but you’ll never see a thread from me about his statements

I'm not sure why you're acting like this. These are literally the rules. The challenging tone is childish when you, definitively, as a staff member, are breaking the rules. That shit sucks, man. At the very least, you should take this for the future to not bother authors, show runners, whatever, about powerscaling stuff.
Put your foot down. Give him a warning that this is, indeed, against the rules. If he does not relent, if he goes on doing it, I'd be absolutely fine with a ban. WoG is a pox on us.

That dude is indeed asking powerscaling questions and not even making an effort to hide it, and he is using for his own upgrades or whatever he had planned. What I asked was from a character I’ve never mentioned the name in this Wiki, even.

You're allowed to think the rule is stupid. I'm a bureaucrat and I think a lot of rules are stupid. But the contract is that you follow them. I'm not saying you're an evil dude for breaking them, but this rule is in place for a reason, and as a staff member, you are expected to adhere to the rules even moreso than a regular user. That's it.

I believe that 2022 was before we made reforms to clarify the intent of the rule and make it read far more strict, so I think a lot of leniency would be given for that, since the previous rule made it sound more like we only care if it's harassment.

Honestly, this report, like the previous one, is not valid. No rules were violated. A standard thread was created and proceeded like any regular CRT/Staff thread. If you disagree with the accepted arguments, take it to general discussion instead. Not to mention UMR replied you 3 times before thread was closed and i also disagreed with OP in beginning till got convinced for otherwise.

I decided to check this claim, since it's really easy to check, and you replied to that thread thirty-six times.
Given your behaviour at the start of that thread, in a now-deleted reply, I am shocked you were given that much leniency. To allege that you weren't given a chance to respond is absolutely ridiculous.
I think it was probably best to keep the initial report up, even if later parts should've been clamped down on. It's important for invalid reports to stay up, so other users can be made aware of that.
I don't think that's important enough to undelete them, but I'd ask Reiner to not do so in these cases in the future.

Yes, I was given the right to speak, and that’s something I won’t deny. Bambu came and allowed me to comment as I wanted, and I do not deny that.
The issue is that I did not have sufficient opportunity to respond after the staff arrived. You can review the replies after the staff joined—I made one response, and then the thread was closed. Is that fair? I wasn’t even given the chance to properly reply to their points. At the very least, I should have been allowed 4 or 5 responses. After that, if the thread was rejected and closed, it wouldn’t have been a problem for me. At least I would have presented my arguments and contributed everything I needed to. But closing it before I could even complete a second reply is something I cannot accept. At minimum, I should have been allowed up to four replies, and after that, if no staff member was convinced or no one else contributed, then closing the thread would be understandable.
Secondly, the core issue of this report is not that, but rather the presence of incorrect information unsupported by evidence. This is the more serious problem. There is not a single piece of evidence from the novel supporting those claims, and as far as I know, that violates the rules. I can demonstrate this to you if you want.
Third, look at the speed argument yourself. My argument was ignored under the pretext that it would be addressed in another thread, which has no justification. The thread reached three pages, and since it is a staff-focused discussion, there is no logical reason to close it and ignore the argument.
Finally, the most fundamental part of my argument was not addressed at all, as if it did not exist, even though it was the foundation of the entire discussion, regardless of Mitsuki and those other points.

Its not that he was offended some words are prohibited thats why if you try to say them they get auto censored if you bypass the filter it counts as a rule violation. These are rules we all have to adhere to

There are derogatory slur words that are a strict violation of Fandom's TOS. And Fandom staff take these rules very seriously. Even if VSBW staff don't ban or remove your posts, a member of Fandom Staff might globally block you across Fandom anyway. So if you don't want that to happen to you, just do not say those taboo words or any other word they condemn.

Reporting @Mommyleona for not only saying he removed Ichigo’s accepted Realistic+ fear other than him saying “I removed it” when I asked for someone to provide me with a thread. But he also removed a speed calc which had nothing to do with his downgrade thread which was Hikone’s Realistic+ feat in CFYOW. @Mommyleona made a thread for a downgrade for the distance between the Soul king realm and the Soul Society. He never made a thread discarding Hikone’s feat done in a separate accepted canon novel yet removed the feat from the verse anyways and changed the verse page.

I believe you’ve misunderstood the situation. I’m referring to the replies I directed to the staff regarding the topic, not the comments I made after they had already joined the discussion. I mean the responses I gave directly to what the staff said. I only made two replies here and here, and I repeated the same point to a staff member who arrived later. That does not count as a new reply; it was simply a reference to my previous response.

Outside of that, it's generally considered less serious because it only became a slur via the euphemism treadmill.
Still, it's been rated as the current most offensive word that can be used to describe the mentally disabled.

Literally, no ones from Genshin verse supporters ever told a supporters from other verses to not come to our discussion. We can be together as long as we're chill and fun. Even if the person meant it as a joke, their words weren't appropriate, and not everyone will understand or appreciate them. They could have hurt someone's feelings unintentionally.
I don't want to make a big deal out of things like this, but I just want the staff to know that something like this is very rude and not a good choice of words for a joke, and also it can hurt someone's feelings, and that was me.
So, for now, I'll just forgive them.
