Unpopular Opinions and (Friendly) Rant thread

honestly never drank energy drinks in my life, i just prefer water
Same. I drink lots of water.
Well, okay, I like some drinks.
Like almond milk (Original, vanilla or chocolate.), vegetable juice, mango juice, guava juice, lychee juice, sometimes a smoothie.
I'm also not one for coffee or energy drinks, but I might have soda sometimes. I like my soda flattened. De-carbonated. I don't like the bubblyness.

Rice can be nice, though snacks I've enjoyed lately include sesame sticks, sesame snaps. Dried fruit like dried strawberries, mangos, pineapples or bananas can be nice. Jerky, too. Soft stuff. (Not that I don't like junk food, like stuff like jelly rolls.)
On the topic of rice, it can be good with some butter or salt, or used for a dessert like rice pudding or kheer.

IDK, I like a lot of things, but sometimes I wonder if my taste in food is bland.
On the other hand, rambling about stuff like this, I feel like maybe I'm just a bit of a glutton, lol. The main things I dislike are generally crunchy or spicy.

It tastes good sometimes ngl
I sorta want to ask what types of rice you peeps eat. (There's a frickton of types for a lot of stuff nowadays...)
Doubt is the price of purity
Variety is the spice of life.

Some food hot takes:
  • Tabasco isn't that spicy (I can eat a spoonful of it normally), Buldak's sauce is much hotter
  • I like Sprite more than Coca Cola, Pepsi, Fanta and many other sodas
  • I drink tonics (Schweppes and whatnot) without mixing it with anything, I like how bitter and sour it is
  • KFC > Burger King > McDonalds (even though I don't eat fast-food that often anymore)
  • I dislike taste of Alcohol, it tastes like acid
  • Beef tastes better than chicken (however it's like high-extreme diff)
  • Xxtra flamin hot cheetos > every other cheetos flavor

I think this is quite common, most if not all alcohol imo is pure poop from a butt. Had vodka on new years and swore I was never doing so ever again!

Not a hot take I think

this is a hot take actually
I have more food hot takes (or lukewarm, idk)

So here's another part:
  • Blueberries are the best berries. Whenever I find something blueberry flavoured - it's nearly guaranteed to be top 1-5 best flavor of anything for me
  • Sparkling water isn't bad at all, it's good, still water is just a bit better. Sparkling water is good for homemade lemonade and whatnot
  • I like some cheap soda sometimes (even though it tastes like acid, at least it doesn't actively trying to burn me alive like alcohol, it just dissolves)
  • Crunchy waffles > soft waffles (I don't eat them that often to compare them to pancakes, no idea what I will consider to be better between these two)
  • Burrito > Shawarma ≥ Gyros > Tacos
  • Boiled potatoes aren't that bland
  • I don't like oranges unless it's a juice
  • I can describe taste of mayonnaise as creamy and little bit sour
  • Energy drinks > Coffee in terms of taste (I just love soft drinks too much)

This site in general has a highballing problem, but the way more niche verses are wanked is a travesty
I'm surprised no one made a Spaceballs joke yet.
Spaceballs should be outer it's in outer space.
(I'm joking I know outer is outerVERSAL/outerVERSE)
Tour De Force
Will say there's a bit of irony here cause you're debunking powerscaling but the title means "feat of strength", was wondering if it was intentional.

  • Yeah tabasco is milder than garlic chicken rice chilli sauce
  • I'm fine with all of them (Coca-Cola owns Sprite and Fanta by the way, welp conglomerates)
  • I'd put McDonald's and KFC higher than Burger King personally, there are also other stuff like In-And-Out, but a lot of stuff is really regionally/geographically dependent
  • Only did wine tasting twice in my life, never consumed alcohol outside of that, never intend to either, it's not worth doing (never smoked or did recreational drugs either, ALSO never intend to do those cause they are not worth doing either, there are so many better alternatives)
  • Also depends personally
  • Very rarely had Cheetos
  • Mood, also at least blueberries ARE botanically berries (not that not-actually-berries like strawberries aren't good, but welp with the naming)
  • Sparkling is ehh for me
  • I usually go for Coca-Cola and Pepsi stuff
  • I like a mixture of crispy/crunchy and soft in quite a few types of foods
  • You should try murtabak
  • I prefer fruit juices over fruits in general, welp
  • I like mayo
  • I like both, but depends on type again (I like both carbonated sodas and coffees with milk, cream, chocolate and sugar)

I'm ngl the standards we have for tier 0 are kind of buns. Same for tier 1 it's honestly really bad. Tier 2 also it's just ludicrous idk how staff don't see the issue with that. Oh and tier 3 too, it's not as bad though it's still such an annoying issue. Tier 4 as well like my goodness the justifications you can get away with that. Tier 5 is even more baffling just, you know what the WHOLE THING sucks just nuke it already damn.

What are standards for Tier 1 and 2?

I hate that people automatically associate liking fat people with having a fat fetish. It's only really a fetish if you're not seeing someone for who they are past their body.

Also, unrelated to that, I don't get pacifists. I've seen people say that people on the level of Hitler don't deserve to be killed, and I never understood it. Why are you so against killing that you will even let people who murder or **** others just keep living?
I get not wanting to hurt people, but at some point we have to realize that not everybody can be redeemed. Everyone can't be reasoned with. Some people truly deserve to die.
And the utter refusal to ever hurt anyone can potentially lead to more people getting hurt than if you just decided to commit violence when you needed to.

I mean life in prison seems good at first compared to death... until the boredom settles in and you realize that this is for life

I mainly support the death sentence because I don't want to risk them possibly escaping or trying to commit more crimes in prison somehow.
Although, now that you mention it, I do think a life sentence could be even worse than death, so, either way is fine in my opinion.

The death sentence is a whole can of worms that is not just a simple "who has issues with killing the bad guys??" issue.

There are many neckbreaking arguments against it, such as death sentences being not, you know, revertable. The potential to kill even a single innocent person should outweight the "just" punishment for even 100 criminals.
The costs of death sentences have been demonstrably more higher than simple life sentences in America, with costs ranging from 2,5 to 5 times the amount of life sentences.
And also, not to sound like a AnCap lunatic that believes the state should be abolished (I believe that taxation is a good thing, actually), but giving any powerful entity, let alone the entity with a monopoly on violence, the legal rights to kill someone with "sufficient" evidence and the judgement of a judge and jury, is a power I think no one should have.

HOLY BASED
Tier 1 is based on mathematical falsehoods and should be a mini version of Tier 1-A in terms of anti-feats
Tier 2 is also based on mathematical falsehoods AND EVERY SINGLE TIER IN IT IS THE SAME TIER WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT

What is up with autists in niche nerd communities and them feeling the need to share their thoughts on murder?
I mean we're on a site dedicated to which fictional character we think can murder the other, so..

Fair point, I should've considered that and yet it completely slipped my mind.

What are standards for Tier 1 and 2?
Tier 2 is quantity of 4-dimensional space-times.

Tier 1 is increasing the quantity of spatiotemporal significant dimensions in space-time.

Something something sparing the evil is cruelty to the innocent
There are alternative/compromise positions...

Very few people consider that and I totally get it. No one would shed a single tear if a pedophile is stabbed to death in a random street, so why would anyone be against executing them? But its that very mindset, that emotional and biased reaction to the death of another human being, that in my opinion cements why the death penalty is just not a thing that should exist.
