I would advise not using Baki’s profile for matchups rn, it’s horrible and pretty much nothing on there is right, even down to the keys.

Also I ain’t ready to debate God of Highschool skillslop yet, I need to have all my ducks in a row first and I’ve only scratched the surface of Baki skill so far

Tbf this is arc 1 Mori. He has like 1.7 onscreen fights under his belt and a little bit of lore. This Mori is really not that impressive

Well the skill feats from the seccond arc should probably still count since Mori only learned acunpuncture between arc 1 and 2

Mori generally improved a LOT in part 2.
He pretty much overcomes the main weaknesses of renewal and perfects it while fighting against Ilpyo, improves KoBD to where he can shoot 2 dragons at once, copies like 20 new moves, etc. Even just the acupuncture itself let Mori see people's weaknesses with just a glance. General intelligence feats still apply but there's a lot that doesn't.

Honestly the difference is pretty large. P2 Mori would dogwalk p1 Mori even in a stat equalized fight

I mean it but it depends on the match up.

Because yeah p1 Mori can achieve most of his p2 stuff mid-fight but that also means p2 Mori would achieve even higher levels of skill in the same time amount of time. Except p2 Mori would probably do so even faster thanks to his knowledge on pressure points and whatnot.

Ooooh that's what you mean.

Well that's just for renewal as a martial art itself. Which is great but it still depends on how Mori uses it and at this point Mori has not yet perfected it like he does in part 2.

So it's still good but doesn't even scratch the surface of GoH skill

I haven't read or watched Baki yet (it's on my to-watch list but it's so long I keep postponing it) so idk. I'm simply pointing out that part 1 Mori really isn't nearly as skilled as his later keys, because most fights in the wiki involve Mori's other keys
