You're typing much of what I did with one exception. There's no hard rule that output RCT can't regrow a limb, those who output RCT just have a harder time because it requires even more energy, effectiveness, and some biological compatibility. Though if you remember that shoto and others have essentially regrown enough blood, flesh, organs, and bone to reattach people, it should be more than enough for half or a third of an arm. Mahito just has a much easier time because his soul manipulation is generally much better and can do far more than RCT.

Bypass as in stop RCT from healing? I doubt it. Yuji doesn't do pure "leave a hole in your soul you can't heal from" damage like SSK. What he seems to be doing seems more unique to a Mahito and incarnated sorcerers thing which is why him punching Sukuna was providing completely different effects than Maki stabbing Sukuna with SSK. Even when he kept punching Sukuna he was weakening the connection between Sukuna and Megumi's soul which isn't at all what SSK does. It likely doesn't affect non-incarnated sorcerers, non-mahito, non-multi soul people the same.
His punches damage and Shrine are two different things.

Ok, I guess if rephrasing it like that, Yuji doesn't do what the SSK does. Yuji doesn't throw a punch at you then leave a hole in your soul, he can tug at the contours of your soul which can disrupt your connection to the other souls housed in one body. So yea, he doesn't have that type of soul damage. It's why he doesn't do the stab to chest and kill you maki thing.
I said I personally don't think that at all, I've always thought it's absurd. But I'd like to discuss those args a bit and see yall's reasoning against them.
The arguments work loosely. I wouldn't call it absurd if you're solely just looking to argue. But personally, the story doesn't frame anyone as 5-B so I don't believe it.
