I’m still a bit sad though, Shin directly said here Gilgamesh won’t scale. Which means a lot of the fan favorite Servants also won’t scale to this, even Servants with Divinity since the CRT specifically mentions only actual Gods or Divine Spirits are in that realm. Beasts probably too, if I’m reading the CRT correctly. But not Servants.

I’m guessing the next thread after this will cover most of the verse then.

It’s probably for the better too. I obviously agree with the thread and everything, but stress testing it and getting other people to find flaws will only strengthen the CRT!

Tsukihime is literally foundational for TM scaling (not just including, but ESPECIALLY Fate) and the fact that its lore has been ignored in this context for so long is appalling. Was losing my mind trying to figure out why human tier characters in things like FSN just have consistent (but often variable) showings of low tier Servant CQC and reading through TsukiRe and talking with Shin about it just hit me with a bombshell that explains all of it. When I was arguing multiplier shit for mages backscaling to a percentage of Servant tier I was RIGHT all along I just didn't know how to argue it properly.

VSBW's generally had disgusting downplaying of Tsuki. And a few rare but incorrect overinflated ratings like Archetype Earth > Roa > Crimson Moon, to the point it just makes me pop my veins out. Otherwise, it's mostly ignored for whatever reason.

I'll fix all Tsuki stuff eventually. It's been put on the back burner undeservingly for a long time now. Tsukihime is as foundational for TM scaling and metaphysics as Kara no Kyoukai is foundational to Type Moon metaphysics alongside.

It's like people just don't pay attention to the VN or manga adaptations (which often make certain things way more blatant). No one noticing Shiki has variable power until I randomly came up with it after reading OG 3 years ago is insane cause the VN, manga, and Melty Blood will do everything short of spelling that shit out for you.

They can just do it in the format of Boss Rushes. We already know that Tohno potentially has had an accident in Boss Rush 2, but they just present it in the gag format. Overall, throughout Type Lumina, if you pay attention to the story, there's a good chunk of moments where they tell you it's all a dream for various arcade scenarios. Melty Blood was originally a visual novel fighting game with the Wallachia Arc; they can do the same with Kagetsu Tohya Melty.

I do hope we get a manga out of it eventually.

My ideal adaptation of Kagetsu Tohya would be an anime following a sort of ideal walkthrough, where each episode contains the unique events of each day separated by a "repeat again". Quite terrible too generally, I hope an anime or Twi Lumina would patch that all up. Though I'm only hoping for KT anime after Remake anime, I suppose, which is still a long while to go. I won't worry, though; it'll happen eventually.

If there's anything I want properly retranslated, it's the Tsukihime manga. Hats off to the original team for their effort but man some volumes have just the worst typesetting and scan quality I've seen in my life I'm sure I would've enjoyed it a lot better if it were more legible

Well, I'll give it a shot in the future once I move on to the Tsukihime side of things. I have all the RAW volumes on me, bought, I'll compile all the important information/scans and the particular scenes. For you, I can go the extra mile to do the stuff that has horrible typesetting if you want (I remember going through that 4 years ago lol, and it was indeed terrible).

Not exactly the same of course, Nasuverse metaphysics and cosmology is very different, but it sort of has that vibe!
