As someone who played Lumine primarily because he disliked Aether's design - nah, I would've preferred her too. Made funnier that shes slightly better meta-wise than Aether for being faster in attack animations. But Genshin uses him for like 99% of the promos so it could be they just used those since its what they can get and may use her in the animation (the actual shadows used during the announcement swapped from Aether to Lumine so I thought they'd use her too)

Simon & Unicron are probably strongest characters mentioned by DB. Doctor I dont think got as many blackbox feats and I believe he is easier to kill than those two?

As far as DB goes, I'd argue it's probably Superboy Prime with either Hulk or Superman close behind.

Ooos, by DB standards and ignoring Marvel/DC. I didnt use VSW stats. I didnt count KICK THE CAT verse after all teehee
With that said, Godzilla Ultima should also be a top dog by DB standards now that I think about it. DB Heroes, Archie Sonic, Spawn and Bill Cypher also get higher dimensional shit, but lower end. Ill have to think about this later what DB standards are used for them specifically. Cant remember everything.

Oh. DB only had Unicron at Hyperversal at most so Simon and Godzilla def surpass him by far, who I both think are tied for strongest non capeshit character. Unicron does get higher than both if you take the tree of life into account but idk if DB buys that.

Hyperversal is still extremely high stat to be given in DB directly. Besides capers, no one else has direct numbers to match 17D in DB resesech. Even GodzillaU and Simon only bypass it by OuterRF shenanigans that bypass spacial dimensions. Simon only got 11D at start, tho I suppose they allowed him to adapt into higher Ds so he might catch up.

Geats I don’t know enough about but if Nero gets her Beast form, she might scale to the new H1A+ stuff that’s going on right now for the current Nasu CRT… but I’m unsure. But if she does scale to that, then she becomes one of the strongest in DB.

From what I've been told, Beast Nero is a completely separate character than Normal Nero, so I doubt they'll factor that in the fight.

Then yeah she won’t get H1A+ stuff. At best maybe smurf hax at 1A but the Nasu reworks aren’t done yet. I dunno if DB will use 8D or find a way to argue R>F but if Beast Nero isn’t being used then she probably loses? The CRT is adamant in only scaling H1A+ to AoG Living Gods and those with Authority after all. Maybe some certain Divine Spirits but its not going to be given willy nilly.
Btw shout outs to Shin and Crim and everyone else behind the big Nasu project, its such a huge endeavor with so much material and books to read and buy and translate!

Also, since Kamen Rider and Fate are two new franchises that'll be introduced, I don't think Nero and Geats will be scaled to 1-A and above sadly. Since this is their first time looking into these franchises, they'll likely not buy the absolute bullshit scaling in the first match. More likely they'll stick to dimensional scaling since that's more quantifiable, and then move on to higher stuff if they ever go back to these series.

In hindsight it’s kind of weird that they used the Doom Patrol and Teen Titans as an example of Prime’s strength and not him fighting the entire GLC and Sinestro corp at the same time. Could’ve even used that showing instead of him killing an entirely featless alt universe Justice League.

Then yeah Nero only gets to 8D, though some places like in the reddits argue Infinite D via Void Space shenanigans. But 8D is the common consensus. If Geats has 11D then she’s probably going to lose in the DB, meaning KR will get two wins (because I love Captain America but Ichigo absolutely beats him).

God Ben vs Hal really did break the internet. Every single time a non DB sub talks about a relevant matchup there’s always at least one person complaining about it.
Makes me wish Ben vs Hal won the rematch poll just so that Ben could get stomped again and they could definitively explain why.
