He didn't even do much to Prime during the fight, besides blasting him with a red-sun energy blast. I wouldn't call that being on par or on the same tier, tbh. Even when Prime tore open the suit and all of Atom's energy exploded right in front of his face, the former appeared completely fine in the next issue.

Atom needed red sun and green kryptonite radiation to do anything to Clark, suggesting that a regular atom doesn't hold a candle to Clark or anyone on his level, exploiting their weaknesses

Nekron feat is valid, but context matters. He didn't just overpower Nekron; he beat him by exploiting his unique connection to the Quantum Field and the specific circumstances of that fight. That's a great showing for Captain Atom, but it isn't enough by itself to say he'd beat Sentry. You have to compare their overall scaling, powers, and consistency too.

Luke Skywalker vs Shulk (Star Wars vs Xenoblade) Seem to love this. Never seen this before but thinks it is really cool. Luke is likely powerful enough to take on shulk. Liam says he hasn’t played xenoblade but has played Xenogears, and if they are at all similar… he does know it is likely a different franchise.

It's a Shulk MU that isn't Lightning, and Luke is due for a runback. I am all for this.

He has been described to to be one of the four most powerful heroes on Earth alongside Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman and Superman, so he should be comparable to them in stats of course, he evenly Fought Monarch (Hank Hall) who could overpower the likes of Superman, Guy Gardner, Martian Manhunter, Mon-El, Waverider, and more.
And it's ironic how he can resist Even the Powers of the void like Soul manipulation,Possession,Corruption, and Even Reality warping too.

For the first one, if you go full crazy with the KOF scaling, Iori deletes Hiei worse than Ichigo did to Yusuke.

Gwenpool's stuff sadly doesn't go as far as Prime's in terms of cosmology scaling, but you can at least argue she has a way better chance to resisting a Retcon Punch than Sentry ever did.

The chances of Sol vs Ragna getting a runback are sadly a big fat zero.

Not sure who'd win the last one since I don't know how DB would scale current Castlevania or Vampire Hunter D, but I'll go for D since he's got a lot more books to pull from I think.

And he was buffed in his series (before the DC K.O fight) to able to just see and drain people's powers directly.

I don't think base captain atom can handle the void but monarch is a discussion IMO

Thinking on it I really doubt that we’d ever get any Deltarune/Undertale matchups that aren’t Sans and Flowey because how the hell are you gonna convince a regular viewer that these characters are as fast or as strong as you say they are when the footage is just the SOUL slowly moving left to right in a box as the actual character stands still.

At least Sans and Flowey have unique hax and abilities to offset that.

Why they need to convice anyone, If they say "Well Frisk Soul is able to dodge this attack from this Guy, and because X and X that's FTL" and they don't believe, they just accept that's how Death Battle is doing the scaling.

Ok but seriously, I not sure I get you point? There's a lot of feats for Undertale to say they have a certain level of strenght.

You cannot genuinely believe that anyone who isn’t hyper brainrotted from powerscaling (which is the majority of this website) would not think that DB is monumentally full of shit if they try to argue that this small child with no explicit physical abilities is genuinely some FTL speedster.

Especially not in a game where the one guy you can’t hit does so by circumventing the game mechanics instead of him just being faster than you. UT and DR powerscaling really is the epitome of powerscaling brainrot where you ignore how the “result” you end up with absolutely destroys the story of the setting in favor of trying to wank a character as high as possible. Trying to powerscale a setting with as many meta elements as these games have is idiotic.

I didn't say that? Is just, yeah they wouldn't believe on Death Battle trying to powerscaling Undertale but so what? If Death Battle does Frisk vs Ness and argue "And Frisk can take hits from Undyne lalala they scale to X joules" and people don't believe them...

Well that's It, people don't believe them. That's kinda on them. The episode would still scale Frisk to that level of strenght.

But Frisk does have visual feats.

lol
is genuinely some FTL speedster.
They not🤧

The immortality of the soul does not make it invulnerable to manipulation.

Doesn't the page say that CA was possessed before?

Didn't he lose consciousness from what they did to him?
Nekron Even tried to Mess with his soul in the fight but couldn't, he Even absorbed the energy of nekron himself

After returning from the Astral Plane, he found someone else in his body and was easily able to overcome his possession

While there's the exception he can be fatigue by that, it's still counted as a resistance feat, Even the villian was suprised he survived that

Not saying he can win against Sentry, but he has good chance of it.

From that guy we talked of not along ago on his Omniman vs Bardock and Kratos vs Asura arguments to defend

He seems to be aware of VS Wiki and likely convos that go in here concerning Death Battle

Nothing states that's a red sun energy blast, especially when a lot of CA's attack tend to be colored on yellow to red spectrum in his comics. Secondly, we are literally showcased the two physically brawling earlier on, with Monarch even harming SBP to the point of him crashing out because Monarch could do so. Monarch outright tries to state that the reason he seemingly "won" halfway through the fight is because his power is like that of a big bang, pretty clear indication he's relying purely on raw power and not weaknesses. Lastly, SBP gets stronger the more he's enraged, and the fact he's even more pissed after Monarch was able to hurt him backs this further.

I'm referring to the fight that happens at the end of the issue, not the beginning of it. Also, this doesn't really contradict CA being comparable to Supes or other feats of him being so. The big theme of the entire issue is that CA is much more willing to win even if it's through dirtier methods or casting aside his morals while Supes won't. Of course he'd utilize weaknesses AND absorption than just purely relying on a straight fist fight. it's moreso him being smart and a dirty fighter and less about him being not around Supes' level.

Nekron feat is valid, but context matters. He didn't just overpower Nekron; he beat him by exploiting his unique connection to the Quantum Field and the specific circumstances of that fight. The point I'm making is that his absorption capabilities allow him to breach the gap between opponents much stronger than he is. That's why I specified the Nekron feat specifically with absorption.

Nope
None of the researcher's buy the calc to the sundisk these days esp when one of the official researchers recalculated the feat after it got animated to be far lower than what they put in omnidock
Oh thank god lmfao.

Things are gonna be damn jarring when the next Invincible ep comes out but oh well.

Animation while decent and passable seems to be pretty lifeless like KratoSura, matches are now 50-50 stomp -like this one, and the music seems to get less "soul" in general. It isn't bad, just very phoned in.
I see, I can understand a little.

I disagree with the music, but yeah matches nowadays are flipflopping between stomps is kinda annoying.
