BRIEF SPOILERS OF CHAPTER 1187!
Sanji Conqueror's Haki soon?

If all that is true... What type of king would he even be? 👁️
Its more like… what ambition and resolve has he already shown that could be evidence of his conqueror’s spirit

Maybe getting all the ladies in the world 😂 since I think in his mind when viola looked at it, she said she has never seen anything like it… most likely it’s that Sanji wants attract and please every women

A conqueror’s spirit is something one is born with, Sanji wanting to be king of women 🤔 or something like that might be a step above the spirit of his brothers and stuff which can be cool

Still think the evidence are very lacking and Sanji has shown evidence against him… I guess there’s counter evidence to that evidence of Sanji saying to throw away your ambitions with Zoro, in Enies lobby he did something similar (kinda 😅) with khalifa

OOH and this is more proof

Probably the King of Love.
uhhh... Idk about that, then you would have to say Garp is that too. Love is just the driving force, not the actual accomplishment/goal if you get what I mean (Like Pirate King, KOH/Number 1 swordsman, Dark King?🧐 And yee

It was said in this chapter that if you want your captain to be King of the Pirates, you need to also become a king. That doesn't necessarily mean becoming one has to be your end goal. We already know Zoro's final dream is to become the World's Strongest Swordsman, not the King of Hell.
1033-017.png

Back in Wano, Sanji questioned which version of himself Luffy needed by his side: a cruel, emotionless warrior or the kind-hearted Sanji. Obviously he chose to remain himself and in the end destroyed the Raid Suit.
1031-014.png

Now with Gaban telling Sanji that the version of himself Luffy needs is a king, it feels like an intentional callback from Oda to that moment in Wano. It's Oda reinforcing that Sanji made the right choice. By destroying the Raid Suit and embracing his compassionate nature, Sanji also chose the path of a supreme king.

The kind of king Sanji is destined to become rules through love and compassion. Just like how Luffy's idea of a king is the most free and Zoro embodies a king who will subjugate even demons to achieve his goal, Sanji is a king whose greatest strength is his unwavering humanity.

And honestly it feels fitting. Judge's dream was to restore Germa 66 to the glory it once had when it conquered the entire North Blue. To do that he was willing to completely remove the emotions from all of his sons, which worked on all of them except for Sanji. Because of his kindness and empathy Sanji was seen as Judge's biggest failure, so it's very ironic that the qualities Judge demonizes and tried to erase are the ones that set Sanji apart as a conqueror and true king.

I just love how Oda wrote this reveal. Luffy asking Judge why he was listing all of Sanji's best qualities after calling him a failed conqueror fits seamlessly with Sanji questioning what kind of person Luffy truly needed by his side, and that in turn flows seamlessly into Gaban claiming that Sanji's qualities are those of a king. Sanji didn't become kingly because he changed who he was. He always had that disposition. His kindness, compassion, and unwavering humanity were never flaws. He just needed that final push. Just like "guts" is Luffy's battle spear and "omen" is Imu's battle spear, Sanji's battle spear seems to be tied to his passion and emotions.

10/10 masterclass from Oda. I can't wait to see what he has planned for Luffy, Loki, Zoro, and Usopp

Maybe Sanji's King's Haki drive will be to become strong enough to protect all of the women and children of the world?

I mean, yes, he is embarrassing around beautiful women, but except for that one flaw his sister is right about him. He really is a very kind and noble person, even though he is trying to hide and not make a big deal about it. 🙏

yee... I know but Zoro considers being the King of Hell the path into achieving the goal of being the number 1 swordsman

I guess same for Luffy, he wants to be the pirate king to achieve his actual dream

Yes. Zoro decided that he'd become even the King of Hell to fulfill his promise to Luffy and Kuina. "King of Hell" isn't an actual thing as far as we know (discounting Imu), so it's not like he'll become a literal leader of a nation. When someone is said to have "qualities of a king" or "kingly ambitions" it's more-so talking about strength of conviction and the lengths they're willing to go to for the sake of their ambition. We have characters like Whitebeard and Katakuri who don't have any ambitions to become a king per se, but because their goal is to be a pillar that can protect their family, they're considered to have kingly qualities.

King Of Hell is the identity they desire to become... And that's what helps them achieve their dream and awaken their kingly ambition

You don't need to be a leader of a nation or anything, you just represent as the Supreme being of Hell or Supreme being of pirates

In JP and such, King is associated with basically a higher lvl being compared to the rest, you are a 2 and everyone else is a 1 🐵

Also Ragnir falling close with the rest of the Straw Hats give me hope that Usopp may actually end up using it (as many theorized) with Loki likely out of the fight.

... 🤔 what do we think about Luffy vs Shanks coming true? 👁️

1138-010.png
Harder and tougher than Kaido, for sure. Shanks is like Luffy's godfather type shit, and like his Idol that inspired him to become a pirate. So, it's tough to fight someone you really admire.

the amount of mystery and lore about Shanks and Shamrock is insane... Which is why I can somewhat see it happening

like a similar way Mihawk is to Zoro 🤔

I don't really understand... If Sanji has been kind of self-doubting and has had no desire or will of becoming "king", then where are his qualities of the conquering spirit?

Did he perhaps lose it as a kid? But was still born with it?

Cmon Luffy, do a better one with G5.
No, gears are only artistic upgrade of Luffy

Like all men, he was born with the potencial to conquer any woman but he somehow become a cvck as he matured 🥀

looking back at his life as a kid... Yee... No, I don't see it 😅 like at all

At least with kid Zoro, Kid Luffy even kid Katakuri (also doffy)... You can clearly see their conqueror spirit in their flash back, no matter the set back or hindrance, they still don't give up or let the bad consume them... Their spirit is actually different, a conquering spirit

🤔... I don't think kids care about "conquering" women, especially kid Sanji... But I can kinda understand what you mean, probably

He has them he just suppresses them
Yee but how does he have them if they've never been shown? Especially at times where they should be shown?

Oda... Just give him limited Conqueror's Haki and be done it 😅🙈 but ayy, we'll see I guess

Anyway, again, I think that Sanji has a strong suppressed/hidden chivalrous drive to protect all innocent women and children from harm, similar to how I think that Luffy's true dream is that everybody should be free from tyranny, but that Sanji finds it embarrassing, given that it seems too "sappy" for his environment. 🙏
