No no the actual energy you tank from a lightning bolt is way smaller than it's raw joule value.

Given that regular humans can survive it, Sasuke is actually trying to kill Itachi with 9-C power.

So in fact we gotta downscale all Naruto mid tiers to 9-C. Genuinely prime Mike Tyson victims

Are you asking why lightning is considered an 8-C? Unless something on this wiki suggests otherwise, lightning is generally considered at least an 8-C.

FRA. Kishimoto mentioned in an interview that Naruto characters could die from real-life weapons, right? Even Blank Period Sasuke fights dinosaurs. 9-C is low tier, 9-B/9-A is top tier – the most consistent value scaling.

We can see during the "here" itself
Even before Kirin was fired, we can see numerous CTG lightning that weren't part of the jutsu
Not a single one carried the same power as what we see when the giraffe-shaped one hit the hideout

Whatever you think caused it aside, it's clearly different from an actual normal jutsu

BZ says that his rinnegan is able to repel even the IT

When Sasuke explains the situation to Naruto he explicitly says that without his Susanoo Naruto would be under the IT, not both of them just Naruto.

That's as clear as it can be without having him actually walk outside and risk the Limbo clones jumping him

ok I'm new here so bear with me but I'm a little confused about this, in Sasuke's profile it says that his striking strength and durability are comparable to his attack potency which only lists the Fireball Jutsu, and all of the characters that scale him use the fireballs statistic value for their physical statistics. so my question is why do they physically scale to the fireball? I'm not aware of anyone who survives the fireball that they would reasonably scale too as the only characters that I remember who get hit by it are Orochimaru and Gaara when partially transformed (both of which are obviously massive stronger than them). the profile for Sasuke also doesn't give any justification or than just saying that he's comparable. so does anyone know the reason why?

It's outdated scaling. There's plans to switch it for the bear calc and update everything accordingly at some point

ok, that makes sense. I was half guessing that it was something wrong that no body bothered to fix because it would have been too much work and/or because they were already planning on a major overhale. like how Zala from one piece is still rated at massively hypersonic on her profile despite the rating being debunked 5 years ago.

No, that one isn't outdated because of that calc, it just was never agreed upon if nami charges up her lightning stuff iirc.
