Introduction
Welcome all in today’s CRT I’m going to be tackling quite a few upgrades you will find in the contents listed below but I will not be going into a lot of detail since the profile contents has a comparison between the current and updated profile. I would like to priortise the multplier contents more since it requires more effort and explanation in my opinion.
Profile Contents
I took the time in revising Gamin’s profile in a sandbox. For formality’s sake I will be showing a side by side comparison. This is Gamin’s current profile and this is the profile I want to turn it into. As you can tell I removed Gamin’s resistance to analytical prediction for example as what was indexed in that profile hadn’t made sense. I also removed justifications and reasonings for “fear manipulation” and added better justifications and reasonings. I replaced “fear manipulation” with “fear inducing aura” as it fits. I also substituted the current ability as social influencing instead of fear inducement. As you can also tell the values on the sandbox are indeed outdated but they’re being taken care of here to provide more accuracy.
In Gamin’s lifting strength section from season 1 onwards you’ll notice that there’s a new justification. Gamin isn’t unknown but peak human and that’s due to Seonho Chae. I used AI to calculate how much the bar would roughly be and that’s how I got my results (factoring in the actual bar being 10kg individually).
I added resistance to electricity manipulation which wasn’t added on the current profile.
Resistance to fear inducement but it’s a possibly rating but I may or may not change it to likely as it seems more fitting.
Added better acrobatic scans and a lot more. That’s enough of the sandbox profile as I feel as though I’ve said enough but if I have to explain more I’ll be more than happy to later into this CRT.
Multiplier Contents
As some may know Fighting Method was officially given a usable multiplier in this CRT. Since Gamin is currently able to utilise 37%, he gains a respective 1.37x increase to his physical statistics which is why from season 3 onwards, there’s a difference in his lifting strength. What was 330kg turns into 452.1kg due to the multiplier.
While Fighting Method isn’t necessarily important for now we were given another statement that could potentially support the usage of another multiplier value. Study Group goes into detail with the difference between someone who’s able to kill and someone who isn’t able to kill. We’re told that when one has killed they receive a dramatic surge in strength. This happens due to not being restricted by mental limitations such as having a no kill code or not wanting to overstep boundaries which killing would be. This is why unlike before, Geonyob Park has no real hesitation in his movements. He has accepted he’s a murderer and has adapted to this unfortunate event. Geonyob and those with killing intent also have the benefit of being able to exert maximum strength that is greatly enhanced without the need of training.
This is further backed up with Kenichi Matsuyama who's able to blitz Hanwool and Gamin simultaneously with his Phantom's evasive maneuver. His technique is likely the reason why he was known as a ''ghost.'' It's because at the end of the day he could still kill his enemy, that's the advantage he has over Hanwool and Gamin who aren't able to kill as they haven't undergone such a transformation. It's why as I said prior to this, they're getting blitzed and overwhelmed in power. Not only is Gamin blitzed before. he's blitzed again when utilising Jun Fan which is significantly stronger than his base form by Kenichi's same evasive technique that has the power to kill someone in a single hit. We're given more extrapolation on Gamin's battle mindset by Kenichi himself meaning that it's a glaring issue that'll put Gamin at a massive disadvantage in his fights.
We're given more context from Yeongha who is someone who also utilises murderous intent. He mentions that he hasn't actually gotten stronger, not to the extent of Gamin but the reason for his sudden strength is murderous intent. Murderous intent is the very reason for why Gamin is being overwhelmed even while using Jun Fan which pulverised Kenichi greatly. Gamin has to give up on getting stronger if he's unable to fulfil the requirements of being influenced by murderous intentions.
Conclusion
Since I believe the context of Murderous intent to be sufficient I will be straying away from that. Due to the statement given by one of Yeonbaek's henchman I would like to propose a 2x multiplier within ''greatly enhanced'' but I am more than happy to tweak such a multiplier if it's considered too controversial since there would be varying views. Just to put it out there I did indeed get inspired by Lookism's CQC thread and wanted to see if it could work here too. I would like to clarify that I will not be using whataboutism or stepping into that territory, I merely want to know if the context provided helps support the 2x value. If this were to be accepted the multiplier would affect physical attributes such as Strength, speed and lifting strength since Study Group makes it painfully obvious with it's tendency to portray narratively superior characters.
Due to the whole point of murderous intent and Fighting Method in the previous thread linked. It was agreed 100% would be considered a 2x multiplier using percentage increase.
If there are any questions or concerns feel free to contest or question whatever you like, I'll be sure to provide more evidence if need be. Thank you to everyone who took part.
