    before the calc i checked the DrawScale3D of the objects and they were the same, this means that they're the same size and would yield the same results when calced. (also, sorry for the late reply, i don't have much time to check this site right now)

    x in the explosion formula is in kilometers rather than meters so divide radius by 1000 and it should seem more accurate.
