Another bullshit aspect of NUmidium hax is Zero Summing. Lorkhan in his Original 1-A form almost got zero-summed but he stopped his meditation towards CHIM to show others how to avoid zero-summing. Numidium is passively creating an aura that forces all beings even abstracts and concepts to admit they don't exist. Reinhard has no protection against Numidium's edgy speech that certainly convinces our Odin Nazi to stop existing.

No one is being "removed from the dream".
The world refusals work by making the other person realize he is, for a lack of a better word, non-existent as self but rather part or the wholeness that is everything and returning to that everything in the context of the rufusal of I.
I think he was talking about Pelinal's Madness which World Refusals is >> than, apparently.

Seriously, this should be closed and 1-A fights should be banned as they never ******* work out-of-universe.

That never happened I am afraid, anyhow:

decent explanation I guess

@Ultima Reality

Do you know the level of transcendence of World Refusals, or am I right in saying that it is unquantifiable and that this should be closed because the victor of the fight is unknowable and that it is likely a stomp in the superior beings favor anyway?

I think that picture explains this the best. And we probably need a deep explanation for zero summing to put on Nimiduim's page so people don't ask everytime "what does that do" and "how does it work".

Wall of text scares everyone.

Anyway, i'll vote incon. I don't know if Numidium is above Rein levels of transcendance. It could be, but it's uncertain.

Also, TES metaphysics requires you to actually think about it. Most people are just confused when reading about CHIM and Zero Sum. I don't even know if i really understand it.

As a completely unrelated side tangent, I'm pretty sure Numidium is a Robot Nihilist, not a Robot Atheist.

As there is a God, but the people in that God's dreams are, just that, dreams and whose lives are inherently meaningless, which he demonstrates to people via his World Refusals.

This is an explanation of CHIM that I found on Reddit that explains the concepts pretty well:

"CHIM is the awareness that they are fictional characters, actors in the dream of the Godhead. To achieve CHIM means to realize you do not exist as an individual, but manage to keep your individuality. Think of it as 1(I exist) + -1(I'm not real). Normally, you would get 0, and "Zero-sum", you cease to exist entirely. CHIM is when you add 1 + -1 and get something OTHER than zero.

The difference of Zero-summing and CHIM is complex, but a simple version would be: Zero-sum - This is all a dream, I do not exist. CHIM - This is all a dream, I can control it."

In TES, all of the Aurbis is defined by two concepts: Time and Space. Those are what essentially create Duality, what allows all Spirits to recognize themselves as separate entities, with Names and Limitations on their own, they are what cloud the True Nature of Existence itself to all things, Mortal and Immortal, great and small.

The True Nature of Existence is expressed in the very phrase "I ARE ALL WE". God is Everything and Everything is God, Duality and Separation are completely meaningless and illusory concepts devoid of any intrinsic essence, and all is Oneness within the Amaranth, the State of Boundless Liberty and Selfhood from which all springs from.

When you realize the Nature of all Things, you become exposed to the sheer trauma of realizing Time and Space, and Duality and Separation are but illusions, and All is One. As the diagram I posted above puts very well: The Self is God, but God is not the Self. Hence, you Zero-Sum, you disappear into the Infinite Oneness of all Things, like a drop of water falling into the Ocean.

That is what Zero-Sum is, and what the Numidium does to people.

You can read Matts blogposts about the elder scrolls lore they explain most things very well and are pretty begginer friendly.

People are lazy and only care about the power levels. The Numidium is a philosophical statement but people only want to know "How much above baseline 1-A" it is when it doesn't even work like that.
I blame masadaverse

Get out here ALRF atone for your crimes

I'm pretty sure this thread has been derailed to the point where it should just be closed.
