DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

So why doesn't Metal ever copy the Chaos Emeralds outright? He only ever uses them as a power source but even then he needs the actual emeralds to get that power. He doesn't just scan them and then boom he now has all the power of the emeralds built into him.

No it’s the fact that it’s even considered manipulation or generation at all that’s ridiculous. It’s a god damn flashlight.
By this logic 99% of profiles should get air manipulation because they can blow air out of their mouths. Or water generation because they can pee. Or sound manipulation because they can make noise with their mouths.
It’s just silly. If you take this idea to its natural conclusion then you see how dumb it sounds. Does a character have an immune system? Well they should have Resistance to Disease Manipulation.

Putting “Limited” in front of it doesn’t make it look any less ridiculous.
 
Getting mad over something silly like that which in a fight doesnt even matter is ridiculous, how about get mad over characters gaining certain powers that actually affect their fights, like how Death Battle gave Android 18 absorbtion that made her beat a marvel herald who could do similar, when she shouldnt have it

Theres not that much to talk about reze vs bakugo The slander already happened and reze fans flew too close to the sun.

This is the equivalent of if death battle was gonna do goku vs saitama when it was popular

On my end Ant took care of that between me and him, so I am good, but others still see and engage with weekly and he stubbornly aint backing down on his absurd takes from his own sphere

At times we may bring old topics into question, but its ridiculous when it comes to weekly how the convo goes, seeing others reply to him on same topic he is wrong on, filling the thread with repeated comments

Did Death battle ever make a distinction between AP and LS or do we assume the character with higher AP can just overpower any LS from a weaker character?
