Woo! First part of Aedes Vesta is done. Damn, that was good I can't lie. Prometheus is cooking some shit since his descent to the Lower World. Also, Welf's reaction to Hephaestus having an affair with Aphrodite back in Heaven was priceless.

the main theory is that the dungeon itself is meant to be Echidna, the mother of monsters in Greek Mythology (it's supported by the xenos reffering to the dungeon as their "mother"), so by extension the black dragon would be Typhon, the snake monster that fought Zeus and was considered the most dangerous monster to ever exist (and also Echidna's mate)

btw we should prolly maybe like, make a "pipeline" or "order or things" we should get calced, so far we have been doing a very "whatever comes up first" mentality. Might be worth making an order of what should be calced next, bc what I noticed is that we are all just coming up with "hey we should do this next" which might not be a good idea and leaves us very unorganized

Ehh can’t be helped I keep forgetting we have some feats that could’ve been calced before moving onto the higher feats. So at this points it’s just a whichever we think is impressive or we remember to calc.
 
well I wanted to at least ask this about Riveria's Via Shilheim, it's described as "a shield that completely blocks physical and magical attacks", do we interpret this as literally "it nullifies magic spells when targeted towards it? or just a basic shield? since the firestorm managed to break it, so... would it just be a regular shield that for some reason the story has to specify "it blocks against magic spells"?
 
just to bring discussion back in here, what are we scaling level 6 adventurers at? just want to know what's the feat we'll use as reference

10x whatever the level 5s will be. So probably either 7-B+ or 7-A assuming the approximation for the level 5 feats are correct.

alright but for reference, are we gonna scale base Bell to it or are we gonna use chainscaling from behemoth alternative? in theory level 5 (which is level 6) Bell being able to keep up with current day Ottar in terms of power means he should scale just fine to Astrea Record Ottar which could match Zard and by extension, Behemoth, which by extension again would include Behemoth alternative

Unless you don't want to do that and just want to scale Bell to the Ottar vs Zard Orario shaking feat. I'm just wondering which direction we're taking here

Why would level 6s chainscale from Behemoth Alternative? That thing is like a mini Three Great Quest. We’re upscaling the level 6s from the Valgang Dragon and Amphisbaena’s floor shaking feats.

just saying that there is a form of chainscale for Bell specifically if you wanna go there
 
also this is unrelated but I thought of how Bell managed to break away the seal that his falna had during the Aedes Vesta event, when Vesta removed the falna from Bell and company, and Bell and the rest managed to break out of. Even if a non canon story I'd say this is worth aknowledging

would this be considered "resistance to sealing" or something akin to that?
