Mira does NOT like muscular men and I refuse to tolerate this slander.

For this sin you will be hunted down and your bloodline will be wiped from the face of the earth
Well, back in the early part of the series, I remember her being quite fond of muscular guys (even if it was mostly just admiring or touching them).

Note: If you don’t like it, I can change it.

By the way, what are your thoughts on this matchup?

I'm sorry Barack Brobama, but that's just not true.
Mira's first arc is literally the opposite of this.

Mira was pretending to only care about finding a strong "muscular man" because her father's dying wish was for her to maintain their family swordsmanship by having a lot of strong children. But MIRA DID NOT WANT THAT HERSELF. She was just trying to fulfill her father's wish.

That's why the wedding arc ends with Mori breaking into the wedding and telling her to stop doing what others say, and do what she wants to do instead. And after she listens to him, she doesn't give a shit about strong men for the rest of the story. Instead she focuses on getting strong herself and helping her friends.

TLDR; Mira was never "into strong/muscular men" and saying so is a fundamental misunderstanding of her early character.

They're basically equal in AP and Mira seems to be a bad match up if she manages to get too close for weapons to work.

But I can't really say more just off the profile because her profile doesn't go super in depth on her skill. So I'd need to hear more about that first.

I’ve removed it already. I apologize for the misunderstanding.🙏🏻

Do you mean Dorothy? (My apologies, I’m not very good at English.)

Although she has a baseline physical rating of 9-A, she primarily fights using various firearms. She hasn’t shown much hand-to-hand combat, aside from occasionally kicking opponents away when they get too close. At long range, she prefers to fight with a sniper rifle, but once an opponent closes the distance, she switches to the handguns and other firearms she carries.

As for her fighting style, if an enemy gets within close range, she will first attempt to shoot at their vital points or weak spots, such as the head (if her intention is to kill). If that fails, she immediately transitions into a mobile gunfighting style, constantly moving while firing.

Since the speed is equalized, is Mira's speed subsonic like Dorothy's, or is it Hypersonic+?

Speed is always equalized to the slower character, so Mira would be subsonic.
I think the question was whether the speed that gets lowered is Miras subsonic movement speed or hypersonic+ combat speed.

To which the answer is the hypersonic+ combat becomes subsonic combat speed, but it's a solid question because iirc we don't have anything in SBA about movement speed in this regard. Like what do we rate characters with no listed movement/combat speed separation

Dorothy should be able to resist Mira's fear induction and avoid being disarmed thanks to her LS advantage, but Mira still has the skill advantage and a slight AP advantage. Dorothy can cause Mira quite a few problems due to her range and accuracy.

Tbh the only 9-A GOH character who's relatively fun to talk about is Mori since everyone else is basically just a hand merchant, which is why I'm not really active in this thread.

And this match up specifically doesn't seem particularly interesting. Either Dorothy takes Mira down at long range or Mira gets close enough and wins.
Given Dorothy uses guns and the distance isn't super large, I'd say Mira is probably getting near her unscathed and just slices her up afterwards. Thanks to the bloodlusted rule she'll just use bare handed swordsmanship to one shot Dorothy the moment she's in range.

So unless there's something I'm missing, you can count me as voting for Mira FRA

Since the distance is long, Mira can dodge the bullets. However, when the distance is short, it becomes difficult for Mira to evade the bullets. If the sharp shooter doesn’t notice Mira approaching her, Mira can win.
