  • I have many responsibilities on this site, and this means I only wear each hat for as long as is necessary. Therefore, you may leave CRT/calc eval/whatever requests, and I will try to get to it, but understand that my time is limited and I'm normally already tapped for some wiki policy matter or maintaining the wiki management threads or handling account issues for users who never seem to get things right. Low priority requests include tiershit, particularly active verses, and discussions with a lot of active staff voices already present. I'm not saying "no" but I probably won't get to them. If I don't reply, smart money says it won't be me to get to it. Sorry.

    1) Not sure if allowed (Answered)
    2) Effectiveness. A ping from you is more effective than a message on the wall, since he might not read it as fast
    3) Officiality. I just feel like in this matter regarding wiki policy, it's better that a Staff, and a Bureaucrat at that, would make such a request, rather than myself

    Let's say that in one state it's 5 to 6 times its base state. In another state it's said to be 10 to 100 times its base state.

    Iirc multipliers require a discussion outright to be used, anyways, since they're finnicky. Rather than work in the abstract, I'd encourage you to make a thread presenting the specific examples. If accepted, I'd say we tend to go with the bottom end, and tack an "At least" on there.

    I think a steel door of these dimensions should have a much larger cavity, otherwise it would weigh over a ton and ordinary security guards wouldn't be able to open it.

    Plus, the very fact that the door is hollow makes it much easier to deform, because rolling up a paper box and rolling up a solid paper block are two different things.

    Let us assume there are two characters from the same verse, where Character A is stronger than Character B in every aspect.

    Later, there is a feat in which Character A demonstrates speed and the calculation places it at Supersonic. This feat occurs when Character A is explicitly going all out and fighting seriously.

    After that, there is another feat in which Character B demonstrates speed and the calculation places it at Hypersonic. This feat occurs when Character B is not even fighting seriously

    In this case, can Character B’s Hypersonic calculation still be considered valid, even though Character B is weaker than Character A? Or should it be considered valid because calculations alone cannot definitively determine which character is actually faster?

    The size of the gap becomes less relevant the larger the numbers are. We would raise an eye at a group of 9-As being scaled to a singular 8-A feat, much faster than we'd raise a group of consistent High 4-Cs having a 4-B feat come forward, even if the latter is a much larger gap.

    The manner of the outlier also matters, imo. It is conceivable that we get a weird, abstract feat, that seems more likely to have been misinterpreted by an author. We would more readily dismiss a feat as an outlier in this instance.
