The best resource is Whitewolf wiki, they do a ton of research and help direct me in the right places all the time.

Thanks for pointing me in that direction 🙏
I wasn't able to find a stat block for Nines sadly, but getting a guesstimate of it shouldn't be too difficult. Did find a stat block for Dracula, though, so I'll get started on a profile draft for him eventually. Does your VtM P&A page include Koldunic Sorcery?
Udlmaster

That's fine, but no lists.

WoD is a list-free verse and shan't be corrupted by it.
SheevShezarrine
SheevShezarrine
But lists are so tidy and legible :'(

Time to git gud at reading, nerd.

Btw, is Subsonic+ the baseline speed for vampires, or is that with some dots of Celerity?
SheevShezarrine
SheevShezarrine
Also, I noticed the VtM Disciplines section of the WoD P&A page has some dead links that need updated, as well as trace amounts of jank in translation from Discipline to VBW-listed P&As (such as Celerity being Resistance to Physics Manipulation as opposed to just straight up PM, since it's outright ignoring regular physics and letting the vamp do their own thing {PM users like Majima and Senator Armstrong have PM for similar reasons}) would it be okay if I updated and freshened up that section and added it to the Vamp Phys page?

Yeah, it's because the entire thing was so long that the VtM section was started in 2019/2020 (iirc) so things were different back then.

Feel free to edit and add to the page, you have my permission, though I would prefer all WoD abilities remain in that one blog, since the whole intent behind it is that it's the One-shop blog for all WoD info, people don't gotta be rooting around for different blogs.

I don't have permissions to edit the page. Is there a way you could give me editing permissions or do I just gotta copy, edit, and send the revised text to you to add in?
Udlmaster
Udlmaster
Oh, that's strange, I think you could ask a staff member to help edit it?
SheevShezarrine
SheevShezarrine
I think the issue is that it's a user blog, and those are probably protected from any edit attempts by anyone who isn't the OP or a staff member

btw, are their resistances just against spells, status effects, etc. present primarily in the VtM side of WoD, or against anything that could theoretically be thrown at them, be it a VtM Discipline or a spell from a MtA PC? Also, are there any occurrences in which a negative effect is guaranteed to hit them full-force and can't be defended against with even a successful dice roll?

It’d just be to each other.

A Mage can resist a mage, Vampire to Vampire, etc.

This is because powers and abilities in WoD game lines are expressed in terms of the abilities exclusive to said game line:

For example, in VtM, it will describe Mage abilities in terms of Vampire powers, and Vice versa.

To expand upon this to explain it a little better, in v5 (it's the first example that comes to mind) when it gives stats to a general Mage or a Garou the stats are about what you'd expect to show up in the other game but their abilities are expressed in terms of Vampire abilities;

So Mages have Thaumaturgy, Presence, Domination, etc. which obviously, doesn't make sense for Actual Mages.

So the intent here is more so that Vampires resist those disciplines and not Mage abilities (at least not automatically, there's obviously some cross over based on Vs ruling), likewise, Mages don't resist Vampire abilities (again, same thing happens, they technically do based on VS scaling, but they don't inherently.)

I don't really mind cross scaling their AP for the most part and I don't mind lore scenarios being used, such as Baba Yaga canonically keeping Mages trapped in Russia, since that's not really a stat thing and more a lore thing.

How should I treat differing portrayals of powers? For example, Protean in RE/20th and Protean in Bloodlines don't exactly line up, and the portrayals of Obfuscate are completely incongruous. Does main canon overwrite the gameplay showings wholly?

Also, any chance you know what Thaumaturgical Paths Menele knows? His page on the White Wolf Wiki says he has 7 Dots in it, but doesn't specify beyond that
nvm I just needed to scroll down

The Main game (TTRPG) always takes precedence. Bloodlines is severely limited by... honestly a lot of things, so they'd never be able to implement the powers properly.

ah true, would be quicker to list what the development wasn't hampered by.

Btw, where does the stuff like conceptual manip and soul manip come from, regarding aggravated damage?
Udlmaster
Udlmaster
Aggravated damage is any damage which is of the highest calibre.

For example, Entropy can attack your Pattern directly by degrading it which does Aggravated damage. Likewise, in VTM, Malkavians can create a Sword out of their own minds that's directly said to be conceptual in nature and because it's the idea of a sword all damage it deals is Aggravated.

Aggravated damage is usually damage that's in violation to something fundamental. For example, Vampires take aggravated damage from Sun light and the Sun both of which harms them fundamentally.
