They don't explode like that normally, there's a cartoony smoke effect then they fall to the floor before despawning when killed normally but the actual explosion in the link is unique to this attack.
Guess the voltage isn't the main cause of it and like Suigetsuhyugs linked above it's the heat...
iirc they could do it in BOTW as well, they're only programmed to fight in certain areas so if they stray even slightly too far the developers have them warp back to their arena. It's pretty common in a lot of open world games but in this case they decided to just actively make the Lynels...
Yeah in game damage is just a big no go for scaling, not even just for these games but for most verses in general. I don't think anyone would seriouslly argue that a Slaking is physically stronger than Arceus due to dealing more damage with physical moves.
I've been working on and off on getting Ultima's and Dion's profile finished, been splitting my attention towards Sly Cooper a lot recently, and they're pretty close. Just need to add some stuff from my docs to my sandboxes at some point.
"Ok Mr. Aonuma we've fully designed and implented combat for Lynels in a 3D space for the first time in series history, we've given them their Link to the Past fire breath and gave them the use of elemental arrows and such, is there anything else we could add to th-"
"Make them teleport"
Nah, the characters don't really get stronger between games (Except for Murray between 1 and 2). Only thing that'd be seperated between games would be stuff in the P&A section.
Priority: 1 (Straight up affects every profile for the verse)
Verse: Sly Cooper
Feats: Got a couple here:
Sly destroys stone statues
Sly destroys this metal generator
Sly destroys some slot machines
Sly destroys some ice pillars
Sly destroys large gears
Working on revamping this series from...
So been working on revising the Sly Cooper verse (Currently in the process of moving all my scattered notes and links and scans from docs to sandboxes), and was wondering how to quantify what Sly is doing here. Is there an amount of voltage we can work with that could cause a person to just explode?
I don't think he actively shows it off during totk, but he probs scales to calamity nando who locked in and started making a physical body the second he senses Link wake up from his 100 year nap (And I think it's also stated in creating a champion he could also sense Link getting stronger which...
Yeah that's pretty my view in the fight as well, it'd be easy for TOTK Ganondorf to meme on the OG with a quick gloom spear to the chest or just absorbing, but it'd also be easy for OG Nando to punt the new one into another dimension or transmute him into like, a tree or something
I got all the korok seeds in BOTW twice (Normal and master mode) and it sucked ass, TOTK I didn't bother with that shit I got enough to expand my inventory to "good enough" and stopped
Don't have one for them atm, but given we got profiles for the OOT and WW Phantom Ganons don't see why we shouldn't give the TOTK version their own one. We'd still slap their shit into normal Nando's profile tho as well since he'd scale to them.
I always liked the weird time powers they give the Master Sword. Like yeah it's main thing is being a holy weapon that nukes anything evil or demonic, but sometimes it can bridge gaps between different time periods like in OOT and TP, and it could even maintain the time stop the goddesses placed...
I think it's a mix of both? The residual energy is clearly based on the time magic stuff and the secret stone activates in response, but the Master Sword looks to have somehow activated it by itself which makes sense due to it's own time based abilities. Either way I don't think this would make...
I keep forgetting the loading screen tips sometimes have actual lore instead of normal gameplay tips.
No like, the lore size. Like most open world games the ingame map size is much smaller than it's actually since trying to make a actual country sized map is just a lil' bit difficult, the Great...
Well, 5-A durability yeah but in terms of AP dragon zelda is 5-C, possibly 5-A via upscaling from her sage of time self because she never fought dragondorf directly, she mostly just avoided him while Link went down and stabbed him
Yeah there was a lot of werid stuff in there. Honestly I got confused at the part where they listed reality warping as part of her divine magic with the justification that deities in the series can just rewrite reality. Like, sure the golden goddesses can but it's not a standard thing for gods...
I think it was good, def didn't agree with most of the cosmic scaling for Zelda (Besides triforce related stuff, that could be legit but atm Nintendo have been a bit too vauge for my liking in regards to whether Zelda actually has it or not) but overall 'twas a nice read.
I was about to say an MK might be considered too violent a series for WB to want to put into the game but then I remembered that just added Jason. I wanna make Scorpion fight Jake the Dog.
I may not be an expert but wanna throw my hat into the ring and say this looks super good to me.
Also damn I don't think I've played this game since my final year of school, gotta get around to replaying it at some point.
I think the purification of gloom is pretty much all she gets in this game (Well, the purification itself isn't new but doing it to something as cracked as gloom is pretty impressive). I recall like 2 or 3 little things that, while they might also be new, can be added into her profile.
Nah Beedles chill he's just doing his best and working his hardest. Nothing but respect for the man.
Tingle on the other hand, especially in Wind Waker, needs an eye kept on him.
It's just as simple as Beedle just reincarnating, it's quite common in the series for a lot of people to simply be reborn at some point. The Lokomo Tribe from spirits tracks have a similar deal, when Malladus kills Bryne it's explained he'll eventually be reincarnated.
Skyward Sword is more broadly about the specific cycle of Link and Zelda needing to forever deal with the endlessly returning incarnation of Demise's curse as oppossed to how Link keeps reincarnating. Hell part of Demise's curse specifically took advantage of the fact the spirit of the hero is a...
