Wouldn't it be more logical to assume that they are just scaled down for cutscenes? Kirby is (at best) a little smaller than a human child, so representing something as big as a planet with any accuracy would be nigh-impossible if you wanted both Kirby and this planet-sized thing in the same...
So I'll have to find the image but in the news section of the Switch for the Kirby DLC they imply that Magolor might have stored some of the Crown's power before it was destroyed.
Also, new story mode! In Another Dimension with AD counterparts!
It comes out on the 30th and with new EX forms for bosses, more moves for the dream friends, more levels, and even Another Dimension reappearing I think this update will have a lot more to unpack than previous ones.
Alright, I'll try to put all the relevant feats from 5e into one place. Anything that isn't covered by the class/race features.
Alert: Most likely would be heightened senses, since you can't be surprised and enemies can't get advantage against you for being unseen.
Dungeon Delver: Advantage...

Saitama jumped from the moon to the Earth in 19 seconds, which according to the math of our savior MatPat, is 67 times the speed of light. He can't possibly be wrong, so we should go through with the upgrade immediately. Also, we should use FTL speeds to...
So both the Elder Tempest calculation and the Dragon calculations were accepted so we can finally get the monsters to the level they need to be (Low 7-C, likely Low 7-B for anything Beholder and above, and High 7-C, likely Low 7-B for anything above CR 23. )
Also speaking of Evasion, three classes get this ability at level 7. The Rouge, the Ranger, and the Monk. It's an ability that suggests that their reaction time has gone up significantly. It lets these classes dodge DEX saves (like Fireball and Lightning Bolt) fully on a succes instead of taking...
Being fair, they are cursed to be the fastest mortals and they have (by far) the fastest movement speed in the game. Not even things like a Solar or Tiamat's Avatar get that fast. I wasn't suggesting we scale it to everything, I was just wondering if this could downscale to any adventurers...
Acausality makes some sense but Labelas is specifically a time god. I know that the greater gods are more powerful but the question becomes is Labelas acausal because of his status as an Intermediate God or is it because of his status as a Time God?
So I have two more questions that might somewhat upgrade D&D in the speed department.
1. Could anyone calculate how fast "seeing lightning crawl in a meandering pace from cloud to cloud" would be?
2. Could any characters downscale from this? They wouldn't directly scale one to one (the...
@Azzy
1. Ok. So that would mean profiles like the Beholder and Empyrean get it in some sense or another considering that they are proficient and it should scale to the gods (because why wouldn't it) even if they don't need it that much.
2. Ok. I'm going to assume it's composite then. Makes it...
Something that might help is that in 5e it is stated that it does affect Psionics. However, it is also stated that Psionics is magic. I think it just depends on which edition you use.
Shouldn't Void Termina have the power to create things from memory like Dark Matter Blade? I mean, he does replicate Flamberg's sword, Francisca's axe, Zan's spear, and the Master Crown. The three weapon ones are both before and after the generals and Hyness leave his body.

Hey guys! I was wondering if I could get your opinion on this thread? I didn't want to bring the questions up in this thread since it seems pretty bogged down already.
This might turn into a content revision later but I want to know if we have answers to these questions right now beforehand.
1. Does having higher mental stats grant resistances to certain effects?
I ask this because a lot of the spells that do things like create illusions, BFR, modify...
Being completely fair, the one use of Karsus' Avatar was used to temporarily replace Mystryl who is considered 2-A not 2-C. It probably wouldn't scale unless we have a key for a Wizard with a metric ton of prep time
Then why are you treating it like the issue is over and done with? Like I said, give them a chance to respond before saying that their reasoning is invalid. I'm not going to get into this argument because frankly, I have better things to do but don't act like you triumphed the argument before...
Why not ask some of the people that actually care about the argument like Azzy instead of just saying "debunked because it only appeared in one edition".
They don't just use one edition for the D&D profiles. They take every edition into consideration.
I gave my reasons why I think Dio should win. I'm not going to sit here and argue this.
I'm going to have to vote for Dio on this even though a lot of Dio's abilities are supernatural and theoretically wouldn't work. However, his Regenerationn wouldn't be hindered by the field (as his Regenerationn is similar to a troll's and AMC doesn't stop them from regenerating) so the Beholder...
Oh, something I know was mentioned in earlier editions but I'm not sure about in later editions is that the gods have access to all mortal spells. So anything a Wizard, Cleric, etc. can do a god should be able to do too.
Ok, I didn't find anything useful in Volo's but I did find something in the MM that could back up the Dragon calcs.
The Kraken can change the weather at will in a 6-mile radius centered at its lair. The effects are identical to the Control Weather spell. Basically it can use Control Weather...
There's probably a ton of feats for the Tarrasque that we just haven't looked over yet, and he'll be a major focal point of mine once we get the rest of the revisions done.
This may just be your wording but you seem to be under the misconception that he can't use his eye beams at all if he has the AMC up. This isn't true. He can still use them, he just can't use them on anything inside the cone. So what's stopping the Beholder from disintegrating and destroying...
And the Beholder won't notice Jotaro teleporting from around the corner back and forth?
And we're assuming that the Beholder won't try and stop him from getting out of his AMC by using his eye rays right outside the radius? Or disintegrate the corner?
It's also in character to keep the Anti-Magic cone on an opponent whose power he is nullifying. It's a pretty common tactic to keep the Anti-Magic cone on the spellcaster while he goes ham with eye beams on his other opponents. So if he visibly notices the character reacting to something not...
That's one way Jotaro can win, but you're assuming that the Beholder will shut down his Anti-Magic field to disintegrate him instead of just using his teeth to bite him to death. You're assuming the battle can go one way and one way only.
Also, speed is equalized so your point about Jotaro...
https://www.sageadvice.eu/2017/05/26/would-successfully-casting-blindness-on-a-beholder-disable-its-eyes/
A note but blinding the Beholder doesn't disable the anti-magic cone. You could blind it to prevent it from using it's rays but blinding it won't surpress the cone.
