So, most of the Slaadi Lords' profiles on the wiki state that they require a +3 or +4 weapon to hit, "which denotes existing on multiple planes of existence, all of which must be hit". This statement, unlike almost everything in any of those profiles, does not have a citation, reference or source link, despite being the cornerstone of the justification for their Type 9 immortality. I played Dungeons and Dragons for over a decade and I never heard anyone mention anything like that before, although to be fair most campaigns I was in had an original setting and I don't think I ever encountered a +(number) weapon to hit being. If anyone's seen a source for this statement, can you tell me where it was taken from and why it's not on their pages?

Masked found a scan on this website.
Assume further that creatures which can harmed only by weapons of a special metal (silver, cold iron, etc.) gain this relative invulnerability from having a portion of their existence in either the positive or negative material plane at the same time they exist partially in the prime. Therefore, those creatures which can be struck only with a +1 or greater magical weapons exist wholly and simultaneously in two planes (one of which is, of course, the Prime Material). So creatures which require attack of +2 or better magic weapon then exist in three planes simultaneously, and so on. This brings us to the consideration of the existence of magical weapons in other planes and in multiple planes simultaneously.
Masked assumes that, like most D&D pages, there are still some outdated sections.
Masked would ask Mr. Bambu, but he is generally quite busy.
