@Yobo It's applicable, tesla is the embodiment of lightning, an abstract, conceptual/metaphysical existence whatever you want to call it.

His type 8 immortality is what you're probably referring to not being applicable i am assuming, as long as someone think of a ray of light streaking across the sky, and calls his name, he can come back from death.

He has 2 type 8 immortality really, one due to embodying lightning, he will come back as long as that exists and even if you kill him somehow, he can still come back as long as someone calls his name, in short he is hard to kill.
 
Tesla is a fragile existence, due to coming into contact with the thunder bird, something that couldn't possibly exist, he exists outside the bounds of the world. The world itself rejects him as his powers are incompatible with the laws of the world, as such humans can't remember him, and he is incapable of existing even in memory, and when everyone in the world forgets about him, he will lose his powers and die.

That was the entire plot of what a shining braves, the island of students was made so everyone related to tesla would be gathered there and then rosenkreuz was going to destroy the island, as a result everyone who remembers tesla would die, and he would die as a result as no one would remember him.

His power is a double edged sword really, neon is what ties his existence to the world, without her he is screwed.

If Hunter's Type 8 immortality resets time once he's killed, doesn't that mean everyone else forgets the events leading up to his death?

This was what I meant, but yeah. Him dying = the match happens over and over again, but with him remembering everything prior while everyone else forgets each time.

In which case...who here can break that sort of loop?
