I have no idea whether or not we are allowed to make threads in Wiki Management, but I don't think there is anything expressly forbidding it. So, I'll just do it and ask for forgiveness.

The purpose of this thread should be pretty obvious, but I will explain anyway to make sure that we are all on the same page. There is a massive problem in VSBW with abandoned, outdated, or straight up undermanned verses. Hopefully with the creation of this thread, we can begin addressing this problem. This thread willl serve as a hotspot for supporters of verses to get more bodies to either get a CRT Passed, get new calcs going, or just to advertise the verse.
Obviously, this OP will be edited as the thread evolves and grows...or not. The thread could be nuked or just left forgotten. We'll see.

I'll provide the first formal request.

Name Of Verse: Soul Calibur
Issue: Faulty Cross-Scaling, Scaling References Lack Calcs (e.g. Where the heck is the Island Level+ calc?), Lack of Lore Resources and References
How To Resolve It: Add a Calculations section to the verse page, add a scaling explanation blog, write up a verse-wide CRT as a last resort.

Name of Verse: Mashle: Magic and Muscles
Issue: Outdated and missing profiles, missing calcs, translation help for fanbook pages
How to Resolve it: Updates for pages such as Dot Barrett and Lance Crown, calculation for Mash pushing a continent across the ocean and potentially erasing a world, translation for fanbook pages like Adam Job's, etc

mashle, huh? might be interested in picking up translation help for that.

Thank you for taking interest. It's mainly the fanbook that needs it, though there's also one off novels, though I doubt they're important.

I was gonna wait a bit since the only pressing issue right now is a CRT that absolutely needs to be approved for the verse to exist in any real manner, but it's not even a month old yet.

However I just remembered an old pressing issue which I realized I'd like to be fixed

Issue: Completely ignored calculations revolving around light feats
How To Resolve It: Literally just need to be looked at and denied/accepted. The verse has a bunch of feats dealing with light and even with the old ones that were used here the verse would immediately see an increase in speed.

Name Of Verse: The King of Fighters

Issue: Outdated stats, abilities, and game information (the page has yet to update the most recent KOF XV entry). The Low 7-B calc that scales to all characters might have a problem with its method.

How To Resolve It: The thread dealing with new feats in new games and revising character keys requires more input. A new calc that revises the previous Low 7-B calc needs evaluation.

This brings back memories, my first thread in this wiki was similar to this one
Name of Verse: Disney's Big Hero 6
Issue:
  • The profiles barely (basically not at all) use elements from the animated series, which as far as I know, can take the cast from Small Building level to High Building/Town Level (Based on calculations I've seen on other wikis at the time and what little I remember about the series from when I saw it [Years, and I didn't see the 3rd season]) On top of that, we lose a bunch of new abilities and suits/upgrades)
    The franchise also has a Disney+ mini-serie and I think 2 or 3 comics (I know the One-Shot manga isn't canon but I don't know what the status of the others)
  • We still have profiles of original characters from the animated series but we are scaling them to the feats of the movie (There are only 2 profiles of the animated series, but on top of that one of them scales to extra things without any calculation)
  • And we don't even have all 6 big heroes (Hiro and Fred, one only having abilities/feats in the series and the other should have had a profile since the movie)
How to Resolve it: Open a thread to discuss the franchise, and start collecting everything that is missing: feats (in all stats), abilities, skills, characters, etc.
Along with probably a complete Big Hero 6 team profile

To be honest... IDK
The general assumption with Disney sequel series here is that they are taken as canon unless stated otherwise or contradicted by the movie (from what I understand, seeing as how verses like Aladdin, Hercules, Rapulzel, The Lion King, Winnie the Pooh, etc. all do this [I would mention Lilo & Stitch, but that franchise has movies that directly follow the events of the series]) and the Big Hero 6 animated series is a direct continuation of the movie, with the first episode being about Hiro rebuilding Baymax with the chip Baymax left him at the end of the movie
Baymax! (disney plus series) on the other hand seems to be a few shorts about Baymax being Baymax (aka, daily life with the medical robot)
That is, none of the series contradicts the movie, and one is a direct sequel to it.

By the way, while I was checking to give examples, I went to Ariel's profile and... why doesn't she have any links at all? The only thing she uses is a respect theat from deviant art (which doesn't seem to have any links either), and from the little I checked it seems that there are even comics stuff in the thread.
 
Name Of Verse: Battle Angel Alita
Issue: This calcs uses an unaccepted method like this one (I think), this calc hasn't been put onto vsb yet, the pages overall are just outdated/unmanned and the supporters don't seem to be likely to update anything from what I've seen.
How To Resolve It: Just need some calcs looked at and get some other feats calced if anyone's interested here are several and last order feats.

I'm already working on Alita's pre order page updates if anyone's interested.
Will probably update this also.

Can we like put Verses that are outdated, BUT are already actively being worked on/resolving?

That way people are aware of it, so there's no duplicate effort that can lead to a complete mess and overcomplication/disagreements in scaling and/or calcs. And to prevent any Vs Battle threads from happening in the meantime, when the Revisions of said character will make the match Completely one-sided afterwards.

Lupin III is 50 years outdated, I am actively trying to update and modernize everything, and it's currently in limbo because a very important CRT that changes literally nothing needs 1 staff vote. By the time I reach end results the verse is going to be in completely different tiers across the board.
 
Name of Verse: World of Darkness
Issues:
  • Tiering of the God Tiers is heavily outdated due to Tiering System Revision.
  • Cosmology Page is heavily outdated and noncongruent.
  • Plethora of missing profiles, and information that is of different continuities.
How to Solve it: There is no need. Me, Udlmaster and others are currently fixing the issues. This is posted to give awareness to the fact. If any of you want more information, feel free to start a conversation with either of us.

Issues:
  • Tiering of Sun Wukong and the Cosmology is entirely false and outdated.
  • An "(un)surprising?" lack of characters and Verse-Explanation pages.

Name of Verse: Space Dandy
Issues:
  • There's only one profile, hilariously old, and it ain't even of the main character, just a side character named Honey
  • No calcs, duh
  • No nothing actually just that one page
  • Rationalizing how Watanabe has confirmed that all his works (Bebop, Champloo, Space Dandy, C&T, Lazarus) are set in the same reality, how how feats and concepts from each show would effect eachother, like how light speed is a hard cap on anyone who isn't God-level
How to Resolve it: Perhaps get people on board to watch the show to understand some of the deeper concepts (warping, universes being made up of strings[?], etc.), calculations
 
Name of Verse: Lupin III

Issue: Found calculations for the verse based on feats I found for it

How to Resolve it: Calcs just need to be checked if they are legit or not, one of them need some assistance in some slight modifications for movement and speed and with adjustments accordingly and the other is a Moon feat which the common sense in me calls BS on being Large Planet level but since it's out of my expertise that could just the cranky old man in me talkin and it could be legit.

Most feats have been resolved, black hole section is the only remaining factor

Should we implement some sort of bump rule for this? It's still early on in the thread's history but it'd be better to nip that in the bud before it becomes an issue
 
Well, it seems like a bad idea to continuously bump this particular thread, as it will hide the actually important posts within it.

However, I should probably add a link to it to our wiki navigation bar so it turns easier to notice long-term. 🙏
