...what ability are you saying the Dog should get from this?

Cause all I see is someone hacking the game to try and circumvent an event to try to get an item, but you can't actually get the item in-game so it only displays text telling you that you can't get the item, as the developer figured someone would try this so they adding this extra event in to prevent the game crashing.

This is clearly something that shouldn't be accepted, as it is only done through cheating, and I see no reason why Annoying Dog should be involved in this, as its clearly just Toby Fox, the person not his Self-Insert, programming in a event to prevent crash caused by hacking or glitching in a situation that the game normally wouldn't account for.
