Acausality Question?

If a character were to split their being into 2, Body and Soul, with their soul existing on a more foundational reality that was separate from the cause and effect of the majority of the characters in the verse. Could this grant a type of Acausality? The character states, and I quote, "But if I separate my body and soul, I can implant my soul into this deeper reality, I can separate myself from the Cause and Effect of the surface realm instead of just controlling cause and effect at all times." end quote.

I know this would grant Possible Causality manipulation, but could it also grant Acausality in some form?

What should I look for to confirm if it is type four Acausality or not?
You want evidence that the character's existence is anchored to a different causal system than the one governing the rest of the verse.
Take a look at the requirements:
Type 4: Irregular Causality: Characters with this type of Acausality operate on a different and irregular system of cause and effect than regular causality.

The character says they can separate theyself from the surface realm's causal system, so that alone should enough for Type 4.

Alright

That is.. If the surface realm's causal system is like the regular causal system that basically govern the rest of the verse, of course.
