First of all, correct the name that my Lord Momonga chose to attend for as this is an offense against him! I demand to be properly written "Ainz Ooal Gown"!!!!!

Ainz has access to layered Time Stop and afaik layered death hax, while grim resists death only once...so we can already start here

Ainz's layered death hax is only when he has his staff, which isn't standard equipment. Though he does have a bunch of skills that can overcome resistances, only the Goal of All Life can bypass an immunity to death (which Grim's profile labels it as)

Ainz's layered death hax is only when he has his staff, which isn't standard equipment. Though he does have a bunch of skills that can overcome resistances, only the Goal of All Life can bypass an immunity to death (which Grim's profile labels it as)

Ainz can access his weapons by reaching into his inventory (basically opening small portals to access his items), which is listed on his pf. He has access to his staff if he wants it.

I'm aware of that, but it doesn't apply to the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown. That thing always stays in the Nazarick and is guarded in the 8th floor's Cherry Blossom Sanctuary, not on his person. With the staff he is seen holding for most of the series just being a fake replica of it.

Never said Ainz doesn't reliably win, just saying that his usual death hax wouldn't work without his staff. But that wouldn't matter since Ainz wouldn't try his favorite spell to begin with since he'd just assume that since Grim is a undead skeleton that he'd have an immunity to it. More than likely Ainz starts off with Black Hole or Hell Flame, neither of which Grim can resist (just noticed that nowhere on Ainz's profile does it mention that Overlord hellfire is capable of burning souls, despite it showing on Demiurge's profile)

Let's go over this thread from someone who knows both series and ignore that Grim is in EXTREME need for a rework

Grim is a physical melee fighter, it's what he enjoys the most and is one to **** around in a fight.

Ainz is a paranoid fighter who assumes any unknown is stronger than him and time stops before Christmas tree-ing with numerous spells to test resistances

Grim will generally only hax someone if they are a direct threat Billy, Mandy, and himself at the same time

Ainz primarily uses hax and will never enter melee unless he's got Perfect Warrior or it's necessary.

So yeah Ainz stomps badly... if you don't hand him a restriction: Limiting him to Perfect Warrior AKA Low 7-C physical stats.

Now Grim still is at a 2x AP disadvantage and really only fights other brute force characters like Hoss Delgado but he's not stomped, he's just getting his bony ass beat
