Merlin appears in Little Tall at the time of the books/film. Determined to save Little Tall from the evil warlock's influence and murders, they eventually meet face to face, and start to fight. Speed is equalized.

Who wins? Assume that Linoge's cane can be a weapon forged in dragon fire, and thus negates Merlin's immortality. Assume also that Linoge is not ni-omniscient, merely wise, knowledgeable and clairvoyant.
