Another Choujin X Upgrade

Firstly, I will be introducing two new characters to the verse: Queem McMann and Palma Shishinegura.

Queem:

• Superhuman Physical Characteristics (As a Choujin X, Queem is vastly superior to other Choujins in all physical attributes)
• Social Influencing (Reputation & Instigating Fear - Widely feared as the Choujin X, Queem’s very existence inspires terror and awe on a global scale, Leadership - Is the president of Great Guelta, and he commands armies of Choujin soldiers)
• Large Size (Type 0 - Queem is 2.8 meters tall)
• Accelerated Development & Genius Intelligence (Military Technology - According to one military researcher, his very existence advanced the development of weaponry by 70 years)
• Choujin (Choujin X - Choujin of War)
  • Energy Projection (Capable of firing destructive energy blasts)
  • Metal Manipulation (Comparable to Azuma Higashi; can freely create and control massive quantities of metal, generating weapons, machinery, and constructs at will)

His understanding of warfare technology is so advanced that a military researcher claimed his mere existence accelerated global arms development by 70 years. He can then manifest and deploy these weapons through his body)
    • Shapeshifting & Bodily Weaponry (Artificial - Able to transform his body into complex mechanical structures, such as jet-propelled limbs, missile launchers, and large-scale war machines)
      • Large Size & Flight (Type 1 - Can shape himself into a massive bomber-like construct, comparable in scale to a B-2 Spirit)
      • Explosion Manipulation (Capable of generating and firing massive explosions)
      • Electricity Manipulation (Shown emitting lightning from his hands)
• Life Manipulation & Resurrection (Queem’s Hyper Genesis system reconstructs or resurrects vessels after destruction or chaos state, erasing all memories and starting a new life each time)
  • Avatar Creation (Can generate independent vessel replicas indefinitely; each functions as a new avatar even after destruction)
  • Memory Manipulation (It alters the memories of each vessel. The system rewrites, erases, or creates new memories for each vessel with every reset)

Palma:

• Choujin (Creator Choujin - Zombie Maker Choujin)
  • Superhuman Physical Characteristics (As a Choujin, she should be vastly superior to humans in all physical parameters)
  • Longevity & Limited Self-Sustenance (Stated that those with Morth blood could live 100–200 years without food or water)
  • Limited Telepathy (She can speak to spirits of the dead through their corpses, understanding their thoughts and emotions)
  • Blood Manipulation (She is a descendant of the Deathless Emperor Bill Morth, inheriting a “twisted version” of his blood power)
    • Necromancy (She can revive dead bodies by injecting her blood)
      • Life Manipulation & Limited Resurrection (Can temporarily restore recently deceased individuals with their personality and memories intact, as shown with Nude; however, the body gradually decays and reverts to a zombie state unless sustained with Palma’s blood)

• Supernatural Willpower (Swam for two months across sea currents from the Morth Islands while adapting to drowning conditions)

• Biological Manipulation (Xember, a virus-based Choujin stimulant that forcibly alters human biology by inserting Choujin Super Cell DNA)
  • Choujin Transformation (Xember forcibly transforms compatible humans into Choujins by rewriting their genetic structure with Choujin DNA)
  • Statistics Amplification (The Xember increases the amount of SC within the body)
  • Explosion Manipulation (Subjects who fail to adapt to Xember undergo rapid cellular overload and violently self-destruct)

• Choujin (Beast Choujin - Hyena Choujin)
  • Transformation (As a Beast-type Choujin, Palma transforms into a humanoid hyena, gaining the physical traits, instincts, and biological attributes of a hyena)

    • Automatic Translation (Animal Communication - Instinctively understands and communicates with hyenas)
    • Enhanced Senses (Enhanced Smell - Hyenas can detect carrion from long distances, Enhanced Hearing - Hyenas can hear sounds related to prey and predators from up to 10 km away, Night Vision - Hyenas can see far better than humans in low-light conditions)
    • Bodily Weaponry (Conventional - Her transformation grants her sharp teeth and claws)

Spoiler: Chaos State

• Transformation & Statistics Amplification (Palma transforms into a berserk hybrid form by combining the effects of the Xember injection, which grants her the powers of a hyena-type Choujin and the blood of the Choujin Emperor; she was able to match both Tokio and Azuma physically)
  • Healing (High-Mid She can force the undead to rise)
  • Shapeshifting (Shown transforming her head into a hand in her Chaos form)
  • Blood Manipulation (She can release tentacles made of blood from her eye that extend for meters and cut deeply and fast)

Spoiler: With Zombies

• Immortality (Type 1, 2 and 7 - Palma’s zombies continued moving after being torn apart, crushed, or impaled. Tokio had to fight through dozens of them, and despite breaking bones and delivering fatal blows, they kept getting back up until he used the Adamantine Harpe to put them down)
• With Nude
  • Reality Warping (Nude can use supernatural cards that grant multiple abilities)
    • Teleportation & BFR (Instantly teleports targets outside the battlefield or location)
    • Size Manipulation (Instantly reduces the size of targets to a few centimeters)
    • Paralysis Inducement (Locks targets completely in place)
    • Electricity Manipulation (Fires an electrical shock at the target)
    • Self-Destruction & Explosion Manipulation (Triggers an explosion that harms himself or others; used to increase the potency of his other cards via risk if he's harmed)

    • Fire Manipulation (Engulfs the target in fire)
    • Damage Transferal (Makes the target share Nude’s injuries or wounds)

Spoiler: Hyper Genesis

• Passive Immortality (Type 4, 6 and 8 - Azuma is an artificial vessel created and maintained by the Hyper Genesis system. If he exceeds his limits or enters a chaos state, the system automatically resets his body and mind, erasing all previous memories and restoring him to a juvenile state with a new consciousness. This process can repeat almost endlessly, making true death nearly impossible for him)
  • Memory Manipulation (Fabrication – The system creates entirely new, detailed memories for Azuma with each reset, giving him a complete life history that feels real to him, Memory Erasure – The system forcibly erases all memories after each reset)
  • Avatar Creation & Resistance to Soul Manipulation (Azuma’s body is an artificial vessel maintained by an external system and contains no soul)
  • Instinctive Action (When the mind and body split, the vessel is driven by primal fear and attacks everything indiscriminately before resetting)

• Peak Human Physical Characteristics (Despite his slim build, Azuma can overwhelm multiple grown men and leap from rooftops)
• Social Influencing (Charisma & Leadership – Azuma is admired by his classmates and peers, seen as cool and dependable. He’s called a town hero, is looked up to as a leader)
• Automatic Translation (Understands the language of hyenas and talks with them)
• Martial Arts (Azuma is highly skilled in both Judo and Karate. He has won martial arts tournaments five times in a row and demonstrated practical application by instantly breaking both of Johnny Kiyoshi Takeyama’s arms with a single kick)
• Stealth Mastery (Secretly followed the Yamato team and learned the location of Tokio’s kidnappers without being noticed by the Yamato agents)

  • Limited Transformation and Cloth Manipulation (During his transformation, where cloth erupts from his eyes, enveloping his head and forming a cape)
    • Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Enhanced Strength - Casually overpowered Ririka Umezawa, Ricardo Terror, and multiple Choujins from Yamato Mori in close combat, including defeating full Beastification Tokio with sheer physical dominance, Enhanced Speed - Blitzed and decapitated Ricardo before anyone could react, Enhanced Lifting Strength - Capable of lifting and throwing vehicles over long distances with ease)
  • Metal Manipulation (Iron Manipulation- Azuma can control and reshape the iron shackles on his body into weapons, tools, or armor, mainly while transformed)
    • Weapon Creation and Weapon Mastery (Sword Creation - Forms various bladed weapons, including katanas and knives)
    • Creation (Armor Creation - Can assemble partial body armor to withstand heavy attacks. Modeled after a knight)

• Improved Martial Arts, Weapon Mastery and Acrobatics (Trained by Yamato Mori, Azuma now fights skillfully without relying on his powers. His combat ability was recognized by Vlad, who saw him as a worthy opponent compared to some of the top Yamato Mori soldiers)
• Improved Metal Manipulation(After training, Azuma can now reshape and control the iron shackles even without transforming)
  • Creation (Trap Creation - Can create hidden, cage-like traps that restrain enemies, Chain Creation – Generates iron chains for mobility or offense. Can restrain a Chaos Choujin using a large chain, Doom Bringer – A massive broadsword strong enough to clash with Bador Vlad, Metal Crusher - Can create a giant iron discs connected by chains and drops them to crush his opponent with immense force, Iron Bunker - Can constructs large fortified shelters to protect allies, Bike Creation – Summons a small iron motorcycle, which he can maneuver using chains)
    • Improved Weapon Creation (Gun Creation - Able to form working pistols after months of studying firearm mechanics)
    • Attack Reflection (By creating an octahedron that can reflect projectiles to his enemies)
    • Forcefield Creation (Can create a metal panel that can block attacks)
• Statistics Amplification (While transformed, Azuma can match Vlad’s strongest form in speed and strength. He moves too fast for Yamato Mori soldiers to react, and can lift, throw, or block heavy objects with ease during combat)

• Transformation (Azuma’s Chaos Form activates instantly after his defeat, transforming his body and moves at a speed that completely blitzes Vlad, who is himself a high-tier Choujin)
  • Statistics Amplification (Upon entering Chaos Form, Azuma’s physical attributes, including strength, durability, and speed, are drastically increased. His presence alone creates fear and awe in others, able to overpower Vlad’s Chaos Form in direct combat completely)
  • Improved Metal Manipulation (Can manipulate and reshape the iron shackles into a more advanced form than his previous form and may draw on Queem’s advanced technological power)
    • Improved Weapon Creation & Energy Projection (Can transform the iron shackles into a rifle capable of firing destructive energy blasts)
    • Passive Chain Manipulation & Weapon Control (Chains emerge from his body as part of the transformation. The chains can extend to considerable lengths, are used as offensive weapons, and allow him to suspend himself in mid-air, granting limited aerial mobility)
      • Surface Scaling (Can cling to and move across surfaces such as walls and pillars using his chains)

• Flight (Uses Yamato Mori jetpacks to fly and maneuver in midair during battle)
• Light Manipulation (Wields Yamato Mori laser guns capable of firing focused beams of light)

Chandra Hume:

  • Smoke Manipulation(Can create, control, and become smoke)
    • Intangibility & Inorganic Physiology (Elemental - He can transform his body into smoke, allowing him to ignore enemy attacks and evade them with his gas form)
    • Regeneration (Mid-High - He can pull himself back together from smoke)
    • Temperature Manipulation, Fire Manipulation and Energy Projection (Can create and control smoke, enabling him to unleash large explosions with fiery projectiles. The temperature of his smoke typically ranges from 200 to 250 degrees Celsius)
    • Forcefield Creation (generate a cloud of smoke that repels large projectiles)
    • Flight (He can fly using his smoke)

Spoiler: Chaos State

• Statistics Amplification (In chaos mode, his choujin power increases fivefold)
• Improved Temperature Manipulation (When Chandra is completely influenced by chaos, the temperature of his smoke increases up to 3,000 degrees Celsius)

• Temperature Manipulation (Resistant to extreme temperatures, including both high heat and the effects of his own smoke)

Also, I will be adding some missing abilities for Tokio.

• Immortality Negation (Type 7 - Using the Adamantine Harpe, Tokio was able to permanently kill Palma’s undead) and Size Manipulation (The Adamantine Harpe automatically adjusts its size to match Tokio’s current transformation. It appears smaller in base form and significantly larger when summoned in Chaos)
• Not sure of this, but maybe Afterimage Creation

And, I will be updating some of the descriptions in the VSPA blog (no new abilities will be added, only fixing and improving the existing descriptions)


Finally, Scaling:

It was already accepted that Chandra Hume’s Chaos State grants a 5× power boost. What I’m suggesting now is to apply that same multiplier to both Sora Siruha and Batista Hoshi, for the following reasons:

• Chandra’s Chaos power was originally granted by Sora. She didn’t lose her ability after giving it to him.
• Sora is a Choujin X, meaning she should naturally be superior to other Choujins in terms of power.
• Chandra showed to be weaker than both Batista and Sandek, yet neither of them could defeat Sora.

Later, Batista inherited Sora’s mark, and when he awakened as a Choujin X, Sora herself stated that he was on a completely different level.

To summarize:

• Chaos Sora = 5× Chaos Chandra
• Chaos Batista = 5× Chaos Sora = 25× Chaos Chandra

There’s another potential amp I’d like to ask about.


Every Choujin has a unique structure in their body called a Super Cell, which is what grants them their powers. The amount of SC varies from one character to another. For example:

• One of the revived zombies had around 2,000 SC
• Another character who transformed into a full Choujin had 13,000 SC

That’s a 6.5× difference.

Can this difference in Super Cell count be used as a legitimate multiplier between characters for scaling?


If both multipliers are accepted:
Low-tier Choujin X:
High 7-C, Low 7-B with Chaos
7.81e+15 to 3.91e+16 with Chaos

High-tier Choujin X:
Low 7-B, 7-B with Chaos
3.91e+16 to 1.95e+17 with Chaos


If only the Chaos State multiplier is accepted:
Then Low tier X will scale 5× above this calc, with Batista scaling 25×

Revised abilities seem mostly reasonable and well supported.

In regards to the scaling, I'm very hesitant to extend numerical multipliers to characters without a direct statement, so I'll disagree with the 6.5x stuff.

So now that Batista's story is seemingly at a close, would it be safe to say he scales somewhere around 2-C or 2-B?

• Reality Warping - By combining his gravity manipulation and scientific knowledge with the abilities of Nue, Batista can manipulate the warp and weft of reality.
  • Time Manipulation - Using the principles of time dilation, Batista has control over the flow of time.
    • Causality Manipulation - Batista can remove certain events from the world's tapestry, and thus can alter their causes.
    • Age Manipulation - Batista can alter the physical age of other people, as shown by him reverting Arthur into a baby.
    • Healing - Batista can negate any damage inflicted onto himself by rewinding time and preventing the attack from happening in the first place
• Forcefield Creation - Batista can create a forcefield to deflect any attacks, as seen when Yamato Mori soldiers fire on him.
• Telekinesis - Batista has control over matter and is able to stop bullets mid-flight.

Limitations

• Required focus - Batista's abilities require careful focus and precision, and a single mistake could risk destroying the very fabric of reality.
• Ignorance - Even after becoming the new Choujin X, Batista is not omniscient and he vastly overestimates what he knows. He ultimately fails to create a new future with Hartley, living out 5 years in an illusion created by Nue.

Weaknesses

• Power Absorption - Batista's only known weakness is that he's susceptible to having his powers stolen or nullified as seen by Ely being able to stealing the Mark.
