Aragor gets his Gondor armor, Anduril and his dagger.

Jon Snow gets Longclaw.

The combatants start 10 meters apart. They get book and movie/tv show feats. Battle takes place at the Weathertop.

Win by death.

Bonus scenario: Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli vs Jon Snow, Jaime Lannister(prime, book version), Arya Stark, Ghost, Nymeria and her pack. Arya has taken Frodo's face. They battle at Amon Hen.

9-C Versus 9-B so unfortunately a stomp I'm afraid although it would be cool

Also just because Martin says a GoT character beats an LOTR doesn't make it true people. In this scenario yeah it is true but we can't take his word of god across another rival franchise lol

Martin himself probably thinks his characters and Tolkien's are just regular human level, if it were true Aragorn would easily clap Jon due to being better in almost everything

Just a question. Is Snow 9-B with his sword or are his physicals that put him to that level? If his physicals are indeed 9-B can Anduril or arrows really hurt him?

He's physically 9-B for being somewhat comparable and able to fight white walkers. Aragorn is better but he can't beat that AP gap

I don't think those arrows would help enough to win tbh. They both prefer sword fighting and then Snow beats him with superior AP much to my sadness

I asked because i don't know what the AP of a standard arrow is. Ygritte managed to shoot Snow and the arrows almost killed him. If the arrows are 9-C in power, then doesn't Aragorn stand a single chance? I mean, a parry and a counter, could probably do the trick, like, 1/10.

Yeah I guess he has a 0.000000001 chance but this relies on Snow not just beating him down first. Plus Aragorn rarely Leads with anything other than swords so it's not in character for him to start with arrows and even then he likely doesn't win

Both his sword, dagger and longbow should be able to cut Jon.

9-B's can very well be killed with either of those weapons.

No, i don't mean that Aragorn starts with arrows. I didn't even give him a bow. What i wanted to know, is if Aragorn is capable of parrying a blow from Snow and then counter attack him immediately, just like Jon did against the White Walker who was also stronger than him. Aragorn was also able to meet the strikes of an armored Olog-Hai, a being stronger than Snow or the White Walkers.

Also, what do you think of the bonus scenario?

Thank you for clearing that up!

It is still unlikely, mind you. It's like tryi g to kill a bear with a hotgun: a good hit in the eye or down it's throat might do it, but your dead if you miss your chance.
