Okay, so these guys are comparable in size. Well, more specifically the largest archaeopteryx specimens are comparable in size to a crow. I wonder, though... How would a match between an archaeopteryx and a crow go? Well, let's find out. This match will be full-on SBA. Without further ado, here are their profiles.

Crow's Profile

Which of these birds takes this?

The crow is a lot smarter and has MUCH better flight. However, the Archaeopterix has teeth. Unsure so far.

I feel like the Archaeopteryx has more agility and is a better fighter on the ground so if it damages the Crow's wings, it's ******.

I doubt it's more agile. The Crow has 100+ millions of years of evolution all put into making it lighter and swifter, and it's got hollow bones. The Archie does have the advantage of wing claws, however the crow can also attack with his hind legs.

To be fair, it's used to fighting off other Archaeopteryx that try to take it's food and it's still a better fighter on the ground.

I'm unsure, you could say the same about crows. I feel like this is in an incon. Both have advantages, but we don't really know that much about Archie. Voting Incon.

Archaeopteryx takes it. It's far stronger, bigger, and more equipped to fight than a crow.

It would be like a human trying to take on a silverback gorilla barehanded. Intelligence doesn't matter in either scenario, you'd still get ripped apart regardless.

No it isn't. It's slower, its wings are a lot weaker, and its bite force isn't anything to write about. Most importantly, it's smaller than the crow, which would have been pretty evident if you read the OP.

By the way, switching my vote to the Crow. It's bigger, has far stronger wings (have you ever seen birds fight? They use wings a lot, and while they might seem like a weak attack, a bird's wings have incredibly strong muscles, to the point where swans are able to break human bones with a wing-slap. The crow should easily be able to do the same to a smaller animal than him.) and, in case it's overpowered, it can fly from a standing position, while Archie needs to get a running start first.

Also I wouldn't say teeth are necessarily better than a sharp beak in this situation, since the Archie's teeth were made for catching small prey, such as bugs and small lizards.
