Holy crap, this is news, to me. I've yet to see this change... But even so, Infinite Speed > Immeasurable Speed. So it's a stomp if we don't equalize speed in PM's favour, and a stomp if we do in Archie Sonic's.

Yeah. Same way canon Sonic scales to Solaris. Still don't know why that's not an outlier for Pre Gen, when that's the only 2-A feat pre Genesis. Post Genesis is legit though, but speed is still wank.

And the OP never said speed was equalized, which means Sonic blitzes ovo

Jokes aside, I'm actually not sure how Paper Mario's hax will interact with Super Sonic here. Sure, Sonic is and always will be 3-D physically, but if he has 5-D power compared to Mario's 4-D power then Sonic should at least be at a major advantage.
