It would be a No Limits Fallacy to assume someone with this ability can nullify anything that falls within the phenomena their powers are made to counter. It is to be assumed that any negation power has its limitations based on the strongest thing it has nullified, and also that a character may be resistant to the ability, at least in one of its forms, preventing it from having its usual effects.

Only if the method it works with would suggest that, I'd think, like, it'd be one thing if it was a matter of erasing magic reserves altogether and thus preventing its use in the process, but another is to counteract magic with more magic, as that wouldn't involve a proper mechanism as to imply that stat bypassing is at play, as much Invulnerability and really high durability tend to be mixed-up up concepts but with important differences for these purposes, magic users and glass cannons overlapping also isn't an alien concept.
