Both at their strongest key.
Speed is equalized.
Distance is 100 meters.
Otherwise SBA.

Ok so
Is there anything Blade Wolf can do about Pochita's regen
I get that HF blades ignore durability and he could probably use blade mode to turn Pochita into mince meat, but is there anything stopping Pochita from just putting himself back together after?

Also I forget are cyborg electrolites at all similar to blood

So there's a funny thing in this fight: Blade Wolf in blade mode would be 10x faster than Pochita, who will view that in slowmo due to his perception speed. What even is this?

Isn't it possible to tax it?

Not really, but ig define similar?

So basically: Nanomachines son >> Nice Knife >= Wolf

Ain't that the thing? So basically it's not really a stomp, Pochita also has healing factor and has far higher perception speed due to speed equalizing, this won't be a stomp

Eh, no speed equalizing plus Raiden is stronger than Wolf and has a better sword anyways.
Raiden having a better sword doesn't actually matter. In this context, there's zero difference between them as his foe has zero resistance to it. You might even argue that Blade Wolf's is a bit better in this context because it has a larger range.

That only works if Pochita had the higher perception speed to begin with.
But Pochita's perception is below Blade Wolf's normally, so in speed equal, arguing that Pochita has a defining advantage to said speed equal exploiting a loop hole to grant him a huge advantage that is in actuality non-existent, invalidates the match.
Much like the whole speed equal amps to blitz a dude who would normally blitz your ass even if you amped.

So how does the speed equalizing really works here then? Pochita's perception speed is far higher than his baseline speed, and Blade Wolf's blade mode is around 10 times higher than his baseline speed, so in this case wouldn't baseline = baseline and whatever higher than that upscales from that?

Basically it's like this: Metal Dog can slash really fast and has really high perception speed in blade mode, Pochita can't slash really fast but can see what's happening, they're different thing, it's like "I can see it but my body won't move!".

It's Blade Wolf, or whoever is higher, gets LOWERED to the slower character's combat speed. All other values get effected comparatively so if Blade Wolf had like 2x perception over his combat, and he was dropped 10x to Pochita's combat, his perception would still stay 2x over the new drop.

If the higher character gets dropped tho, and the slower character then gains a new advantage like a 10x speed amp, stupid perception, wacky movement, that gives them a huge advantage that effects the outcome of the match, due to having a differing value for those over their combat speed (which is what gets equalized), BUT in a normal situation those differing higher values or amps WOULDN'T be quicker, then they're ignored.

For example.

A: Dude A is Mach 10, he fights Mach 100, speed equalized so Mach 100 becomes Mach 10 too. But Mach 10 had a speed amp that is 7x, so he amps to Mach 70, and blitzes Mach 100 who is now Mach 10. This is bad and stupid and not allowed, invalidates the match.
B: Dude A is Mach 10, he fights Mach 100, speed equalized so Mach 100 becomes Mach 10 too. But Mach 10 had a speed amp that is 10000x amp, so he buffs to Mach 100000, and blitzes the Mach 100 who is now Mach 10. This, is actually fine because that amp would blitz tf out of the Mach 100 even in speed unequal, so as long as the Mach 10 dude would realistically get it off normally, in the speed equal match this blitz amp is fine.

It's basically like that. Blade Wolf gets dropped, but Pochita's perception speed normally wouldn't do shit, so treating it like he's watching BW in slow motion is extremely exploitive of speed equal, which exits solely so Pochita can stand a chance and not get blitz, not so he can gain an unfair advantage he shouldn't actually have.

Eh... So is this match really a stomp or nah? Iirc blade mode requires you to stand still, wolf still need to fill the bar, and I don't remember him spamming that stuff either... All that and Wolf is not as strong as Raiden obviously... Plus a hit from Pochita would dice him in half due to him having an upscaling from his 7-B while wolf is capped, and Pochita's chainsaws scales massively higher than his baseline, while wolf would have to kill Pochita at least once first before he's dead due to healing factor. His extremely high inteligence doesn't matter that much against Pochita either, he only have a chainsaw that matters and some moves he could pull with it, Pochita has far higher mobility and movement speed too.

Pochita can't deal with the speed amp and skill gap, tho he did go against Quanxi. The dura neg does nothing due to regen, so shouldn't really be an issue.

BW could eventually tax Pochita enough to slow his regen down, but also dies if he gets hit a few times

Thinking about this, doesn't this bar all characters with a higher reaction speed from any speed equal match against an opponent faster than them, or does it have to be a huge part of why they win, otherwise we can just ignore it?

You can move in Blade Mode, not only can they in QTE's and cutscenes, but literally in game you can, can't run in game but ya can in fact move and walk.

AP legit doesn't matter, everything Blade Wolf has one shots.
Blade Mode actually makes Pochita lading a hit unlikely as it's BLADE WOLF who has amps here that are viable.
Even if he can cut Wolf, don't forget Wolf has extremely good type 2 immortality and having huge gashes or even parts of his body chopped off won't kill him.
He also technically has full heals/revives (Profile doesn't specify how many, but it's 5) and even smoke grenades that burn at over 3000 degrees.
His extremely high inteligence doesn't matter that much against Pochita either, he only have a chainsaw that matters and some moves he could pull with it,
Blade Wolf outskills Pochita so hard that it'd be a miracle if Pochita could ever even touch him even if Blade Wolf was like 10x slower. Especially with Blade Wolf's funny analytical prediction. He doesn't have just a chainsaw, he has some projectiles like heated HF knives and some stray items.
Pochita has far higher mobility and movement speed too.
No he doesn't? Blade Wolf is faster in movement?

Relevant enough to effect the outcome.
But, this is just code for "if they wouldnt normally, just ignore it and assume it's equal too".

Having higher perception speed doesn't matter 99% of the time unless you have some sort of thought-based ability that can be activated instantly. Pochita's perception speed comes from him sensing the Gun Goddess' bullet but he literally couldn't do anything before it hit him.

Little do you know I can even get csm to 300c for the sake of my sanity, I'll stop thinking about it
Yeah well relativistic+ MG2 Snake and then we do what the DBZ lads do and just shove every goddamn multiplier under the sun onto it from Solidus' 3x multiplier to Blade Mode's 10x and more and we end up at like 4-5 digit MFTL 🫵
we wont tho because Gray Fox kind of ruined that scaling.

Naf fr fr this time trust, soon fr
but only a MGR stat upgrade thread, the actual big CRT is locked away until Konami releases MGS4 on modern console or PC, PS3 emulation stops being ass, or I buy a capture card and pull the PS3 out myself. One of.

Must be nice having blade mode and multipliers, but every time I think about why didn't Raiden just use blade mode to chase after this and that my brain just kinda explodes so yuh.

Fr bro trust...
It would already be out if the dude who was doing the AP calc for it, didn't have me spend 3 hours helping him, get it done, we get to the very end, and because it wasn't some extremely stupid high value like High 7-A+, they threw the calc out and basically ditched the project and wiki. Like yeah thanks for that dude.

Blade Mode takes fuel cells, technically till RM, he can only make use of BM for what is like a few dozen seconds from his pov (which would be like nanoseconds in real time) and can only cross gaps of like 100m~ before being out and needing to refuel on energy.
So it's like only good for burst motion.

And by the time he gets RM, it's like the end of the game and the only distance he has left to travel is across the ocean to the other side of the world.
